Aɣerbaz is a song written by Baha Mansoub. Aɣerbaz is a Tuareg word which means initially Koranic school but which would later have the meaning of school in general in the lexicon AMAWAL of Mouloud Mammeri. “Aɣerbaz” is synonymous with “Tinmel”. The song tells the wish of a father or mother to see his child benefit from a solid education and quality teaching. An apprenticeship allowing him to develop his personality, identity, and his personal development. An education capable of improving one’s quality of life on both the psychic and material levels.
