Lyrics:

March like a mother****ing band with that K
If you stand on s*** that’s where you gon lay
Live that way gon die today
Goth money s*** I feel like Kray
get high with me while I'm fading away
they follow me I'm leading the wave
where you going like aye bae bae
trying to eat that cake like it's anime
And the racks they blue, all in the safe
I keep it cool cuz I'm safe
play with me you lead, play with me you lead
I don't care what you say
run that s*** up in a day
Ocean View I got the wave
broke hoes make me sick
tired of love I've done threw my heart up in a vent
Bump my head now I'm young boy walking with a dent
I'm Lil Wayne but my gun walk walking with a limp
look at your hoe she embarrassed that she walking with a simp
I'm a big blood but I'm screaming RIP to Nip
Blood Blood Blood
I got
foreign hoes, foreign clothes, foreign cars
I got bad bitches and they p*** stars
ever since I lost my damn brother I've been going hard
I might count 100 Mil in my dream car
shawty slurping on the floor I know her knees hurt
I done hit a few stains in my fiend car
Sock ‘em in this s*** and make them seizure
plotting on the gang I made him dream hard
556, 223 I'm in that foreign car baby pick up speed
and they don't need to know about you and me
I got this s*** blowing up like TNT
don't even call my phone no more DND
I gotta rob the bank PNC
I'm tryna rob the bank PNC
I'm Peter Parker pimping bitch I'm PPP
I'm with little Mary Jane and we in the trees
we smoking woods in the woods follow me
and I'm From The Trenches I am not an actor
man I'm in that ship I should go to Saturn
Man i'm out my mind feel like Jacob's Ladder
They stay on that shit that just don't even matter
slice & dice a bitch like a weedwacker
that little bitch she funny, that’s a knee slapper
she was talking foul that's a lean backer
beat that p***y down like a linebacker
Run it over I'm running s*** over I'm running shit over
I'm running s*** over I'm running shit over
I'm running s***

Lyrics:
Do do do x 14

In a whole nother lifetime
There was this boy that I knew
He made me feel like a woman
We were young and silly fools
Anyway he was in a band
Wrote love songs about me
I wasn't crazy bout the words
But the melodies were sweet
Went something like

Do do do x 14

Every time we'd go dancing
I’d see his straying eyes
Gave him too many chances
Pushed my keys too many times
Anyway he'd start acting up
And I'd be on my way to leave
But I stopped in my tracks
When I heard this melody
And it went like

Do do do x 14

He used to sing me sweet melodies
He played me, made me believe it was real love
Sang me sweet melodies
But the day he did me wrong
The song couldn't go on & on & on

He used to sing me sweet melodies
He played me, made me believe it was real love
Sang me sweet melodies
But the day he did me wrong
The song couldn't go on & on & on

He would lie he would cheat
Over syncopated beats
I was just his tiny dancer
He had control of my feet
Yes when he came along
That's when I lost a groove
There was no song in the world
To sing along or make me move
Something something like

Do do do x 14

He used to sing me sweet melodies
He played me, made me believe it was real love
Sang me sweet melodies
But the day he did me wrong
The song couldn't go on & on & on

He used to sing me sweet melodies
He played me, made me believe it was real love
Sang me sweet melodies
But the day he did me wrong
The song couldn't go on & on & on

Do do do x 14

On and on, on and on

He used to sing me sweet melodies
He played me, made me believe it was real love
Sang me sweet melodies
But the day he did me wrong
The song couldn't go on & on & on

Lyrics

She captures her reflection then she throws the mirror to the floor
Her image is distorted, screaming, "Is it worth it any more?" (No)
Are you scared of the things that they might put you through?

Does it make you wanna hide the inner you?

You’re not the only one so let them criticize
You’re untouchable when you realize, oh

Change, change your life, take it all
We’re gonna stick together, know we’ll get through it all
Change, change your life, take it all, (take it all)
You’re gonna use it to become what you've always known
(Become what you've always known)

His body starts to flicker like nobody wants to know his name
Just another soul with feelings but nobody's there to feel the pain
No, no, no
They can rip you, bring you down, down to their size
But they will never get to the heart you hold inside

You’re not the only one so let them criticize
You’re untouchable when you realize, oh oh oh

Change, change your life, take it all
We’re gonna stick together, know we’ll get through it all
Change, change your life, take it all, yeah, take it all
You’re gonna use it to become what you've always known
(Become what you've always known)

Change, change your life, take it all
(Change your life and take it all)
Change, change your life, take it all
(Change your life and take it all)

You got a right to show the world
Something never seen
We want to hear you scream it out
You’re not alone, oh, oh yeah!

Change, change your life, take it all
We’re gonna stick together, know we’ll get through it all
Change, change your life, take it all
Change your life and take it all
You’re gonna use it to become what you've always known

Become what you've always known

Lyrics:
Sha-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la
He might got the biggest ca-a-ar
Don't mean he can drive me wild
Or he can go for miles
Said he got a lot of ca-a-ash
Darling, he can't buy my love
It's you I'm dreaming of
They try to romance me, but you got that nasty
And that's what I want (that's what I want)
So baby, baby
Come and save me
Don't need those other numbers
When I got my number one
Last night I lay in bed so blue
'Cause I realized the truth
They can't love me like you
I've tried to find somebody new
Baby, they ain't got a clue
Can't love me like you
Ah
Used to get it when I wa-a-ant
You were pouring out your love
I could never get enough
Now I'm dealing with these bo-o-oys
When I really need a man
Who can do it like I can
They try to romance me, but you got that nasty
And that's what I want (that's what I want)
So baby, baby
Come and save me
Don't need those other lovers
When I got my number one
Last night I lay in bed so blue
'Cause I realized the truth
They can't love me like you
I've tried to find somebody new
Baby, they ain't got a clue
Can't love me like you
Sha-la-la-la, woo-ooh-ooh
Sha-la-la-la, oh-oh-oh
Sha-la-la-la, oh-oh-oh
Can't love me like you
Sha-la-la-la, woo-ooh-ooh
Sha-la-la-la, oh-oh-oh
Sha-la-la-la, oh-oh-oh
Can't love me like you
L-O-V-E
Love the way you give it to me
When you're with me
Boy, I want it everyday
L-O-V-E
Love the way you give it to me
When you're with me
Boy, I want it everyday
Last night I lay in bed so blue
'Cause I realized the truth
They can't love me like you
I've tried to find somebody new (Ooh, woo-ooh)
Baby, they ain't got a clue
Can't love me like you
Last night I lay in bed so blue (L-O-V-E, love the way you give it to me)
'Cause I realized the truth (L-O-V-E, boy, I want it everyday)
They can't love me like you
I've tried to find somebody new (L-O-V-E, love the way you give it to me)
(L-O-V-E) Baby, they ain't got a clue
Can't love me like you

Lyrics

Boy, I can see the way you dancing, move that body
I know it's crazy, but I feel like you could be
The one that I've been chasing in my dreams
Boy, I can see you're looking at me like you want it
Oh, usually I'm like, "Whatever," but tonight
The way you moving got me with my mind

It started when I looked in her eyes
I got close and I'm like "Bailemos" (hey)
La noche está para un reggaetón lento (ehe)
De esos que no se bailan hace tiempo (ooh)
Yo sólo la miré y me gustó
Me pegué y la invité: "Bailemos?" (hey)
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Just get a little closer, baby, let go

Excuse me baby boy, just had to dance with you now
See there's nobody in here that comes close to you, no
Your hands are on my waist, my lips you wanna taste
Come muévete, muévete, muévete
Our bodies on fire, with full of desire
If you feel what I feel, throw your hands up higher
And to all the ladies around the world
Go ahead and muévete, muévete, muévete

It started when I looked in her eyes
I got close and I'm like "Bailemos" (hey)
La noche está para un reggaetón lento (ehe)
De esos que no se bailan hace tiempo (ooh)
Yo sólo la miré y me gustó
Me pegué y la invité: "Bailemos?" (hey)
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Just get a little closer, baby, let go

Do you know I like you when I take you to the floor (the floor)
I know you like this reggaetón lento (lento)
This ain't stopping, baby, 'til I say so

Come get, come get some more

Boy, I wish that this could last forever
'Cause every second by your side is heaven
Oh, come give me that, give me that boom, boom, boom, oh
I tell you, baby, you, baby, you get me hotter
Loving made me sick, made me sick, you're my doctor
Don't you know you're playing with fire tonight
Can we get it right here one more time

It started when I looked in her eyes
I got close and I'm like "Bailemos" (hey)
La noche está para un reggaetón lento (ehe)
De esos que no se bailan hace tiempo (ooh)
Yo sólo la miré y me gustó
Me pegué y la invité: "Bailemos?" (hey)
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Closer, baby, let go

Yo sólo la miré y me gustó
Me pegué y la invité: “Bailemos, eh?”
La noche está para un reggaetón lento
De esos que no se bailan hace tiempo

It started when I looked in her eyes
I got close and I'm like, "Bailemos" (eh)
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Just get a little closer, baby, let go

Muévete, muévete
Báilalo, báilalo
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Let's get a little closer, slow the tempo
Muévete, muévete (just dance with me now)
Drop it low, drop it low
So now we dancing un reggaetón lento
Just get a little closer, baby, let's go

Lyrics

Hey babys
Tell me your name
I got a fever for you
I just can't explain
But there's just one problem
I'm a bit old-school
When it comes to lovin'
I ain't chasing you
Ain't waiting
I'm on a roll
You've got to let yourself go

Oh (talk to me)
You know that I've been waiting for you
(and I noticed you, too)
Don't leave me standing all by myself
(I won't leave you standing all alone)
'Cause I ain't looking at no one else
(oh, baby)

Hey,
Get your back off the wall
Don't you get comfortable
Looking so hot,
I think that I might fall
Feeling like it's my birthday
Like Christmas day came early
Just what I want
So when we move
You move

Hey
Get your back off the wall
Don't you get comfortable
Looking so hot
I think that I might fall
Feeling like it's my birthday
Like Christmas day came early
Just what I want
So when we move
You move

Oh silly
Why you afraid?
Don't be a big baby
Quit playing games
And put your arms around me
You know what to do
And we can take it down low

Oh
You know that I've been waiting for you (for you!)
Don't leave me standing all by myself (myself!)
Cause I ain't looking at no one else
(looking at no one else, looking at no one else)

Hey
Get your back off the wall
Don't you get comfortable
Looking so hot
I think that I might fall
Feeling like it's my birthday
Like Christmas day came early
Just what I want
So when we move
You move

Get your back off the wall
Don't you get comfortable
Looking so hot
I think that I might fall
Feeling like it's my birthday
Like Christmas day came early
Just what I want
So when we move
You move

I know that you wanna
But you can't
'cause you gotta stay cool in the corner
When the truth is that you wanna move
So move
I know that you wanna
But you can't
'cause you gotta stay cool in the corner
When the truth is that you wanna move
So move

Move it baby
You know that I've been waiting for you
Don't leave me standing all by myself
'Cause I ain't looking at no one else
Looking at no one else
Looking at no one else

Hey! Hey! I'm ready, hey!
Boy come and get me
Don't be scared
Show me what you do
Don't you know a girl like a boy who moves?
Hey! Hey!
I'm ready, hey!
Boy come and get me
Don't be scared
Show me what you do
Don't you know a girl like a boy who moves?

Hey,
Get your back off the wall
Don't you get comfortable
Looking so hot
I think that I might fall
Feeling like it's my birthday
Like Christmas day came early
Just what I want
So when we move
You move

Hey! Hey! I'm ready, hey!

Lyrics:

When you dancing in the club
And the nights are getting hard
Do you think about us?
Do you think about us?
When the music gets so loud
And the girls are all around
Do you think about us?
Do you think about us?

Cause I do, think about you
When I'm up here in my hotel room
Need you love, don't know what I'm gon' do
My body so hot, I'm missin' you

One touch is all I want
I call my girls, we go down to the club
Walk through the crowd, 'til I find my love
I look in your eyes and the whole world stops

Woah, you put your hand on my waist
And then you pull me close
Boy, I promise I won't let go

Now we're dancing in the club
And it's fire when we touch
Do you think about us?
Do you think about us?
When we're deeper in the crowd
Can you feel my body now?
Do you think about us?
Oh-woah-oh-oh-oh

Do you think about us, us
Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh
Do you think about us, us
Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh
Do you think about us?

'Cause I do, think about you
Can't shake you off, babe you're stuck like glue
Now we're alone, got my body on you
You don't even know all the things I want do

One touch, need your love
Me and my baby, we up in the club
Ain't nobody else, you know it's all about us
Ain't nobody else, you know it's all about us

Woah, you put your hand on my waist
And then you pull me close
Boy, I promise, I won't let go

Now we're dancing in the club
And it's fire when we touch
Do you think about us?
Do you think about us?
When we're deeper in the crowd
Can you feel my body now?
Do you think about us, whoa?
Do you think about us, us
Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh
Do you think about us, us
Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh
Do you think about us?

TY

I’ve been thinking about us yeah
All the cities we met up in
Situations that we’ve been through
Have you been thinking about me too
I have some things on my mind I wanna tell you
Can we please spend some time I’ll clear the schedule
For You
Can I put you on a jet tonight
Can I VV on your neck with diamonds
Can I put some drip on you Vivienne Westwood
Put some Chanel on you, That New Balenciaga, YSL on you
Girl You A Goddess
Do you Think About US

Do you think about us, us?
Woah-oh-oh-oh (do you think about me, baby?)
Woah-oh-oh-oh (do you think about me, baby?)
Do you think about us, us
Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh
Do you think about us?
Oh-na-na-na-na, do you think about us?
Oh-na-na-na-na, do you think about us?
Oh-na-na-na-na, do you think about us?
I wanna know, do you think about us?

The group was founded in 1986 by Guru (then known as Keithy E. The Guru) and DJ 1,2 B-Down (also known as Mike Dee) with various producers, such as Donald D, J.V. Johnson or DJ Mark the 45 King helping out. In 1987 and 1988, Gang Starr released three 12" vinyl singles on the Wild Pitch label.

In 1989, the group split and the only member willing to continue under the name Gang Starr was Guru. He soon got in touch with DJ Premier (then known as Waxmaster C) who sent him a beat tape which Guru liked. He invited DJ Premier to join Gang Starr and in that same year they released their first single "Words I Manifest" along with the album "No More Mr. Nice Guy" (1989).

During their career Gang Starr helped pioneer the New York hip hop sound, and in fact, many an artist who achieved greater notoriety owes much of their sound, lyrical style, and even content to Gang Starr. The entirety of Gang Starr's catalog, especially Step in the Arena (1990), Daily Operation (1992) "Hard to Earn" (1994) and Moment of Truth (1998) are well-respected among critics. Their track "Jazz Thing", featured on the soundtrack to Spike Lee's film Mo' Better Blues, helped establish the sound of jazz rap.

Both members of Gang Starr have deep roots in the New York hip hop scene, despite hailing from Boston, Massachusetts (Guru) and Houston, Texas (DJ Premier), and have each worked with countless artists.

The Gang Starr Foundation was a loose collective of various people who have worked closely with the group, through either Guru's now defunct Ill Kid label, DJ Premier's production work or the management company that Gang Starr was represented by, Empire Management. The founding member was Vikar.

It is undetermined if the group actually broke up or not. However, on September 1, 2005, Guru has revealed in an interview with the hip hop online magazine sohh.com that the group doesn't exist anymore, but that it has ended instead of breaking up. This has finally cleared up the rumors that came up first on the European Gang Starr tour in 2003/2004 when DJ Premier suddenly went back to the US and Guru continued touring under the group's name with another DJ. However, in a December 21, 2005 interview with the online magazine allhiphop.com, DJ Premier has denied that Gang Starr is history; he said it's rather a long break than a real break up. In a more recent interview from April 20, 2006, with the online magazine hoodstars.net, Guru has stated he would not work with his previous partners anymore. In a newer interview he stated that Gang Starr has reached the peak and that he is out of the project. To add even more to the confusion, DJ Premier said in a November 21, 2006 interview with the XXL Online Magazine "If I confirm it, then its official. If I dont confirm it, then we still together." On September 21, 2007, he also told Red Bull Music Academy; "If Guru wants to do it Im down, its really up to him. Hes the one that said we should pause for a minute and if thats how he feels fine by me. If he calls me tomorrow and says Im ready to start, Im ready."
