Lyrics:
Je suis désolée[French. English translation: "I am sorry"]
Lo siento[Spanish. English translation: "I am sorry"]
Ik ben droevig[Dutch. English translation: "I am sad"]
Sono spiacente[Italian. English translation: "I am sorry"]
Perdóname[Portuguese. English translation: "Pardon me"]

[Repeat:]
I've heard it all before

I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say you're sorry
I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say 'Forgive me'
I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore

You're not half the man you think you are
Save your words because you've gone too far
I've listened to your lies and all your stories (Listened to your stories)
You're not half the man you'd like to be

I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say you're sorry
I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say 'Forgive me'
I've seen it all before
And I can't take it anymore

Don't explain yourself 'cause talk is cheap
There's more important things than hearing you speak
You stayed because I made it so convenient
(Made it so convenient)
Don't explain yourself, you'll never see

Gomen nasai[Japanese. English translation: "I am sorry"]
Mujhe maaf kardo[Hindi. English translation: "Please forgive me"]
Przepraszam[Polish. English translation: "I'm sorry"]
Sli'kha[Hebrew. English translation: "Forgive me"]
Forgive me

[Repeat:]
Sorry, sorry, sorry
I've heard it all before

I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say you're sorry
I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
I don't wanna hear, I don't wanna know
Please don't say 'Forgive me'

Please don't say you're sorry

Lyrics:
[Intro]
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
"There's just one thing I wanna say.."
The reel to reel to reel to reel yo
"There's just one thing I wanna say.."
Copy copy copy copy copy
"There's just one thing I wanna say.."
We gonna hit it down like this, y'all know the flav
"There's just one thing I wanna say.."
Uh, Alamo, is you wit me?
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Stud Doogie, is you wit me?
"What goes around comes back around again.."
S.O.S., is you with me?
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Yo this how we gon' bust it down, yo you know the flavor
"What goes around comes back around again.."
You know what time is it, check it yo, this how we flow

[Verse 1]
Here comes the Puba and you know I won't fake it
Usually bust records on gettin' butt naked
Made for the Benzi, drive a nigga trendy
Pump the tape, grab your dick, get with the Puba frenzy
C'mon honey sing, don't you, try to eject
"Slow Down" is what you say, once my joint gets erect
Some try to copy but they just can't sketch it
Some try to follow but they just can't catch it
With the boom boom tap, yeah alla dat
Huh, I'm livin fat, me fall off, there'll be none of that
See who's the one to flip it? Quick to tell a nigga to zip it
Stud drink the forty cause we ain't got time to sip it
Grand Puba, God body
Kick some of them, some of those, and some yardies
As dope as they come, suckers sing or hum
Don't try to step to this, you know your shit is slum
First, batter up well here's the pitch - it's a curve
Second, batter up because the first got served
The one who arouse, as I browse for a blouse
Kick styles by the piles, as I leave a trail for miles
Skins when I please, hit from here to Tel Aviv
I'm gettin G's, no more time for the line of free cheese
Here's the four one one hon, the one who gets the job done
I know you know the flavor of the Puba

[Hook]
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Yeah yeah yeah yeah, na-nah nah nah nah, this how we bump it yo!
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Yaknahmsayin? Big Jeff in the house, we gon' move it like this
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Ha hah, Baby Pop Baby Pop in the house, bust how we bust it down
"What goes around comes back around again.."
Y'all you know the flavor
Sincere Allah, check check check check!

[Verse 2]
Okay okay okay, what more could I say?
Alamo get the boom and parlay parlay
I'm far from the average, civilize the savage
When I'm low on protein, I'm with the bean soup and cabbage
Skins on the diet, kick the flavor, cause a riot
Do a show and get the dough and then I'm off to the Hyatt
Sometimey on the spliff, ain't no and's or if
And if you really wanna riff you just might end up playin' stiff
Girbauds hangin' baggy, Hilfiger on the top
Knapsack on the back, that's just my flavor, akh
As my man gives a zigga zigga, watchin three grow bigga bigga
To Pos K, that's my nigga
Here goes the wreck, whaddayou expect?
If you wanna see some wreck, send cash, not a check
Grand Puba, more than a public figure
Quick to kick the bone up the butt of a gold digger
Now Tic-Tac-Toe means I hit three in a row
If I do a show, then you better have my dough
Low, low, well how low can you go?
Call on Grand Puba if you really need a pro
Cause my shit's more rugged than G.I. Joe
Don't front honey, act like you know
Now big up to my Brooklyn mob (Brooklyn! Brooklyn!)
Big up to my Uptown mob (Uptown! Uptown!)
Now brothers wanna diss me cause it's my turn to burn
My best advice for the brothers is to sit back and learn
I don't diss nobody to be somebody
I just like to kick the flavor to make the people party
See all I'm sayin' is respect due
Those who tried to follow, sorry I left you
Grand Puba, Stud Doogie, and Alamo
So if you ever want the flavor you know where to go
Now how we go

[Outro]
Yeah, ha ha ha!
The reel to reel, yeah yeah yeah, this is how we move it
You know the flavor, y'all know the flavor, you know the flavor
Here we go yo, and you don't stop (big up to all the people)
Big up! Big up!
Big Jeff hold tight! Ha hah, ha hah!
On and on y'all
Time to get gone
Word is bond

▶Lyrics:
I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning, I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never, never a honest word
And that was when I ruled the world
It was a wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh, who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

7 Reasons Cliff Burton F***ing ROCKS (+Bass Lesson Tips) Hotney 4 Streams • 4 years ago

How did Cliff Burton become a metal bass hero? Here’s my take on Metallica’s legendary former bassist, plus tips to level up your own playing.

Sheet music + bass tab for all the Cliff riffs I played - https://www.noteflight.com/sco....res/view/a396c614f3a

What really freaked me out when I first heard Cliff was when he’d shred his bass like a lead guitar - so first we’ll break down part of his solo on “Orion”. I’ll show you 3 guitarist-style tricks Cliff uses to make that solo shred hard.

Then we’ll talk influences, metal legends like Steve Harris, Geezer Butler, and Lemmy Kilmister had a big impact on Cliff, and you can see that influence directly in the bass line examples we’ll check out.

Cliff was also majorly influenced by listening to Johann Sebastian Bach and other baroque composers. I’ll break down exactly how that influence showed up in his playing - and how it didn’t. (nobody ever talks about this!)

As any fan knows, Cliff wrote super creative bass lines that transcending the plodding root note style of other rock and metal bands. We’ll look at his line on “Jump In The Fire,” compared to Rob McGovney’s original bass line, to see this in action.

Cliff’s bass tone kept evolving through the three Metallica albums he played on - I’ll show you how Cliff’s tone compared to other metal bassists of the same era by playing back to back isolated bass lines from Steve Harris, Tom Araya, David Ellefson, and Frank Bello. (these are so cool to hear)

How do you keep up with James Hetfield’s legendary downpicking speed? Cliff had a trick up his sleeve that made it doable - you’ll probably be surprised how simple it is, and how well it works in a full band mix.

Cliff Burton played with Metallica from 1983 to 1986 - just under three years - and we’re still feeling the impact of his legacy over 30 years later.

His life ended abruptly on September 27, 1986 in a tragic tour bus accident.
It was a huge loss to his family, friends, and fans.

But the music lives on, and I have a feeling we’ll be talking about Cliff for many more years. So thanks Cliff, we love you, and rest in peace!

I cite my sources and they may differ than other people's accounts, so I don't guarantee the actual accuracy of my videos.

Andy Wood would be Born to a close knit family in columbus, mississippi, 1966. Throughout his childhood his family moved around a lot as his father was in the military. They would live in san antonio texas in the mid 70’s before relocating to bainbridge island in the 80’s, which is a short ferry ride away from Seattle. In his youth, Andrew Wood would find solace in Elton John, Kiss, and T-Rex a sign of what was to come in his musical career. By the time he was in elementary school Andy already started dabbling in drugs, something which would lead to his downfall.
Known for his charismatic style, Andy originally wanted to be a radio DJ even winning a contest in the sixth grade to host a show on a local seattle radio station KZOK called ‘Your mother won’t like it.” It was during this show Andy hosted a three hour program where he told stories, jokes and did comedy bits in addition to playing music. Dave Rees who would be Andy’s bandmate in the band Malfunkshun would recall in the book Everybody loves our town “i remember talking to andy after that and he seemed a little disappointed because he wanted to be a dj but he realized that there was no immediate feedback. There was no audience. And that really bummed him out. He actually told me. Well now i’m gonna have to be a rockstar. According to Kevin Wood, Andy’s older brother it would be a concert andy saw in middle school where cheap trick opened Kiss that made Andy want to become a rockstar.
Before we can talk about Mother Love Bone, we have to talk about another band that preceded it Malkfunkshun. Andrew Wood would form the band with his older brother kevin when he was just 14 . The brothers would end up recording their first demo tape during easter sunday in 1980 when they were left home alone while their family was at their grandmothers house. His brother Kevin used to work as a dishwasher at a restaurant and remembered seeing a sign above the dishwasher that said ‘report malfunction’ before the name got trimmed down to malfunkshun with an alternative spelling. Originally malfunkshun was a four piece, but was scaled down to a three piece with Andy playing bass and doing vocals while his brother kevin played guitar and they enlisted punk drummer Regan Hagar. Dave Rees who was Malfunkshun’s original bassist for a short period of time said in the book Grunge is Dead: “Malfunkshun was the loudest and most entertaining band I’d ever seen. Yes, they were louder than motorhead.”
Andy’s brother Kevin would recall in the same book “everyone had a good time at a malfunkshun show. It was an open minded sort of feeling. I was afraid first of offending the sensibilities of the punk rockers. But they welcomed us with open arms. I think we opened up doors for bands to just come out, be themselves and play. It’s kind of what started the whole evolution of the punk turns into the rock
While many associate grunge with flannel, one of the earliest so called grunge bands was Malfunkshun, which didn’t wear flannel. Wood would model his stage persona after theatrical performers including Marc Bolan, Freddie Mercury, Elton John and Prince. He would take the stage name L’Andrew The Love Child while his brother would take on the name Kevin stein and their drummer Regan Hagar would become THundarr. Unlike a lot of his peers Andy wanted to be a big star, perform in arenas and create music that appealed to the masses. Andy was so single minded in his pursuit of success that according to Kerrang he said he would even open for Warrant.
Andy’s on stage persona became the stuff of legends in seattle, telling jokes in between songs, one story had him even making a san

#blink182 #Janine Lindemulder

I cite my sources and they may differ than other people's accounts, so I don't guarantee the actual accuracy of my videos.

To some she’s best known as the nurse on the cover of Blink 182’s third album Enema of the State, to others she was already known as an adult film actress. But whatever happened to the woman on the front cover of blink 182’s 3rd record. That’s what we’re going to explore in today’s video.

Janine Lindemulder was the woman who appeared as the nurse on Blink 182’s third album. Prior to appearing on the album in college she was a softball player who even got a scholar ship offer, but ended up answering a modelling ad which eventually led her to posing in adult men’s magazine penthouse in 1987 where she was named pet of the month and would appear in the magazine several more times during her career. It would eventually lead to her enering the adult film industry in the early 90’s becoming well established in the industry. She would marry her first husband in 1988 a construction worker who she would end up having a son with. They would subsequently divorce in 1996. The following year she would appear in howard stern’s movie private parts playing the camp counsellor’s wife. In 1998 she would be filmed having sex with motley crue frontman vince neil. It would make loudersound’s list of worst rockstar sex tapes at the number 2 spot. In 1999 she would appearing on the front cover of blink 182’s third record enema of the state and in the video for what’s my again.

When it came to the artwork for the album the band always envisioned having a nurse on the front cover. IT was just a matter of picking the best woman to be on the album sleeve. The band’s record label MCA gave the trio a stack of photos of potential cover models to look through. THe women in the stack of photos were mostly from playboy and vivid entertainment. The band decided on adult actress janine lindamulder, but unbeknownst to the members they didn’t know she worked in the adult film industry. Linamulder would appear on the cover in a nurses outfit putting on a glove with the band members semi nude in the back of the cover. Lindamulder would also appear in the videos for what’s my age again and man overboard.

The photographer for the album David Goldman, would talk to Huffington Post where he admitted he wasn’t familiar with the band before getting the job going on to say. "Up until the very last minute, the album was going to be called Turn Your Head and Cough," And that's why I came up with the idea of the glove. Obviously an enema is not really a glove type of thing. I thought it was a good visual."

There would be three different versions of the cover art. The first pressing of the album showed Lindemulder wearing a nurse’s hat with a red cross and the band’s name spelled with a capital B in the band’s logo. The second pressing of the artwork still had the red cross but had a lower case B in the band’s name as the band preferred that and finally the third pressing had the red cross removed.

In 2013 a fan posted on the group’s subreddit celebrating the anniversary of Enema of the State.
Band member Mark Hoppus dropped by the subreddit to share some info on the album’s artwork saying

“We were then contacted by the Red Cross that, as we are in no way a medical organization (which I would debate. one time I changed a band-aid), we should not have a red cross on our artwork. If we continued using the red cross logo, we would be in violation of the Geneva Convention. (for real).

“Thus, the third iteration of the artwork: no red cross, lower case b blink-182.”

The band according to the American Red Cross was in violation of section 55 of the 1949 geneva convention that states no one other organization, public or private can use the red cross symbol other than the red cross or red crescent

It was shortly after appearing on enema of the state’s cover that she announced her retirement from the industry opting to focus on raising her son and wanting to become a school teacher. In 2002 she would end up marrying west coast choppers founder Jesse James with whom she had a very tumultuous relationship with that was full of c
