LYRICS
Been waitin' at these crossroads
Forever and a day
On a guy to buy my soul
I spend all night and day
How much harder can I play?
You know I gave my life to rock n' roll
Here we go

Mama begged me please
Yes, she got down on her knees
Said """"""""you'll burn in that Mississippi sun""""""""
But I'm the only one that's standing here
So mama don't you have no fear
I'm either last or I've already won
Here I go

Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down

Standing at the crossroads
A dried up pen in hand
The conversation went like this
""""""""Tell me your desire why you pulled me from the fire and we'll seal the deal with a kiss""""""""
Said """"""""I wanna raise the dead
Find a note that I can shred
On my walls I scrawl my gods
Don't care what happens when I die
As long as I'm alive
All I wanna do is rock, rock, rock""""""""

Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down

Oh, sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil Oh!
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Oh!
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Oh!
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Oh!

Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down

Take me down
(Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil)
Take me down
(Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil, oh)
Won't you take me down
(Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil)
(I got a record deal)

The heavyweight brooklyn bomber that can't rest
Love success, i'm gettin money progress
Travellin for free from state to state
That's how i get my idea to create
I'm live motivate, i keep on movin, it's been fubu
I make def jams like rick rubin
I stay on my tippy toes wreckin shows, i'm too slow
You can't peep my ill flow in this burning zone
Keep low like an eskimo
Askin' people, still carry my flow, open the do'
It's the real outlaw, from flatbush to south shore
Givin you more and more
I just came home from tour
It's my time to burn to explore
I'm comin through the floor with low x
I'm fully gassed to the max movin stacks, no fakin jacks
I'm the baddest man on the wax
Messin around with my squad, you get taxed
Shittin' ex-lax, on hot tracks, i can't relax
Breakin' backs, with my nfl quarterbacks
Flipmode deep we bring good things to light
Put down your gun and light
I'm in it to win it
Plus i'm wildin for da night
[busta]
All my mutha*****as in the place to be
You feel right, throw your hands up
We gettin wild for da night

Niggas in new york gettin
Wild for da night

Mad appealing brothers who dealin' from brownsville and
I'm ready and willing i'm playin lock and chase
You can get my black race
Bet i, hesitates, i'm movin cash like chase
You about to get laced fifteen across your face
You at the wrong place, you at the wrong time
You didn't use your third vision mind, you sippin wine
Your vision is blind, no you can't see the victory
You in the street it's gettin deep
You rolled up with the wrong peeps, you're the black sheep
You won't protest, drop when your little brother got shot(bang!)
It's gettin hot, now you back around the way
With the same clothes, plus your bum hoes that you chose
They gave up your whereabouts, where you hang out
Who you hang wit, now you gotta get your dome split
You wildin for da night *echoes*

Lyrics
All right (can you feel me)
Come on
Can you fill me in

I was checking this girl next door
When her parents went out
She phoned said, "hey boy, come on right around"
So I knock at the door
You was standin' with a bottle of red wine, ready to pour
Dressed in long black satin and lace to the floor
So I went in, then we sat down start kissing, caressing
Told me about jacuzzi, sounded interesting
So we jumped right in
All calls diverted to answer phone
Please leave a message after the tone
I mean me and her parents were kind of cool
But they ran a fine line between me and you
We were just doing things young people in love do
Parents tryna find out what we were up to

Saying why were you creeping around late last night
Why did I see two shadows moving in your bedroom light
Now you're dressed in black
When I left you were dressed in white
Can you fill me in
Calls diverted to answer phone
Red wine bottle, half the contents gone
When I returned, Jacuzzi turned on
Can you fill me in

Whenever the coast was clear and she'd ask me to come out
I'd say, "hey girl, come on right around"
So she knocked at the door
I was standing with the keys in my hand to the 4x4
Jumped in my ride, checkin' that nobody saw
The club we went in
We got down bounced bounced to the rhythm
Saw it was early morning
Thought we'd better be leavin'
So I gave you my jacket for you to hold
Told you to wear it cause you felt cold
I mean me and her didn't mean to break the rules
I weren't trying to play your mum and dad for fools
We were just doing things young people in love do
Parents tryna find out what we were up to

Saying why can't you keep your promises no more
Say you'll be home by 12, come strolling in at 4
Out went the girls but leaving with the boy next door
Can you fill me in
Wearing a jacket, who's property
Said you'd been queuing for a taxi
But you left all your money on the TV
Can you fill me in

https://www.primevideo.com/-/f....r/detail/Dave-Chappe

Lyrics:
Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
This is Wyclef, Refugee Camp (L-Boogie up in here)
Praswell (Praswell up in here, haha)
Lil' Base sittin' up here on the bass (Refugees up in here)
While I'm on this, I got my girl L (ah, ah)
One time (one time), one time (one time)
Ayo, L, you know you got the lyrics
I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style
And so I came to see him, and listen for a while
And there he was, this young boy, stranger to my eyes
Strumming my pain with his fingers (one time, one time)
Singing my life with his words (two times, two times)
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd
I felt he'd found my letters and read each one out loud
I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on
Strumming my pain with his fingers (one time, one time)
Singing my life with his words (two times, two times)
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song

Yo, L-Boog, take me to the bridge
Whoa
Woah-oah-ah-ah-ah uh, uh
La-la-la, la, la, la
Whoa, la
Whoa, la (ha, ha, ha, ha)
La-ah-ah-ah-ah
Strumming my pain with his fingers (yes, he was singing my life)
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words (whole life, with his words)
Killing me softly with his song
Yo, put your hands together for L-Boogie (strumming my pain)
From the Refugee Camp (yeah, yeah)
(Singing my life) up in here, you know how we do, L-Boogie up in here
Wyclef, Praswell, said L-Boogie up in here
Wyclef up in here
My man Lil' Base (Praswell up in here)
Jerry one time
T Rocks up in here, we got Warren up in here
This is how we (Warren up, up in here, Outsiders up here)
We got Fallon up in here, Mulaney, Mulaney's up in here
(Refugee Camp, Refugee Camp, yeah)
Everybody got a breakin' point kid
And they'll rat on you
The family niggas will rat on you
That's why we gotta be prepared to take whoever out we need to
