In this clip, The D.O.C. discussed the origin and background of the Death Row name. The D.O.C. believes that he is the one who coined the phrase, "Def Row," believing the label would be a west coast version of what Russell Simmons built with Def Jam. "This is the recording of my live set at the Mayan Warrior, Burning Man 2022.
Watching these images takes me right back to what might have been the most beautiful show I have ever played. What makes the Mayan Warrior so special is not only the production scale but the vibe of everyone involved. It’s a family and I’m happy to feel like I’m part of it. I think this reflects in the music being played on this art-car.
My set has been a journey for me personally and musically, and I hope you get a glimpse of what I felt when I played these songs."

Enjoy

LYRICS:

I should have known better
To see what I could see
My black shroud
Holding down my feelings
A pillar for my enemies

I should have wrote a letter
And grieve what I happen to grieve
My black shroud
I never trust my feelings
I waited for the remedy

When I was three, three maybe four
She left us at that video store
Be my rest, be my fantasy

I’m light as a feather
I’m bright as the Oregon breeze
My black shroud
Frightened by my feelings
I only want to be a relief

No, I’m not a go-getter
The demon had a spell on me
My black shroud
Captain of my feelings
The only thing I want to believe

When I was three, and free to explore
I saw her face on the back of the door
Be my vest, be my fantasy

I should have known better
Nothing can be changed
The past is still the past
The bridge to nowhere
I should’ve wrote a letter
Explaining what I feel, that empty feeling

Don’t back down, concentrate on seeing
The breakers in the bar, the neighbor’s greeting
My brother had a daughter
The beauty that she brings, illumination

Don’t back down, there is nothing left
The breakers in the bar, no reason to live
I’m a fool in the fetter
Rose of Aaron’s beard, where you can reach me

Don’t back down: nothing can be changed
Cantilever bridge, the drunken sailor
My brother had a daughter
The beauty that she brings, illumination

Post Malone sits down with Zane Lowe to discuss his fourth studio album, ‘Twelve Carat Toothache,’ and his return to performance after a welcomed period of solitude.

This particular record is a poignant, intimate look into Post Malone’s life and includes the contributions of his personal heroes like Robin Pecknold and Doja Cat. Post Malone is in a major period of development, both in business with his investments in liquor and spirits, and in his personal life with his first child on the way. Tracks like “Love/Hate Letter To Alcohol,” and “Wrapped Around Your Finger,” help shape the tone of the album, one that promises to strike emotional chords and create a more genuine connection between artist and audience.

Ab-Soul is slated for his musical return on December 16th with his newest work, "Herbert". Ab-Soul stopped by Sway In The Morning to share how he has been dealing with loss and success in his life. It was an introspective conversation that, even if you weren't a fan of him yet, you would be after this. And he kicked some bars over Kendrick's "Die Hard".

⁣Listen to the new track 'Disintegrate I' of Portuguese DeathDoom metalband OAK. The song 'Disintegrate I' is taken from the full-length album "Disintegrate" and will be released world wide on February 10, 2023. 'Disintegrate I' is an extraction of the full album of "Disintegrate".

The story to “Disintegrate” is as aptly as it’s music. The burden and liberation of the Giant, through music and lyrics. “Suddenly, a giant could be heard walking slowly with the weight of the world on his back.” This new narrative is about the liberation of the giant, which after the end of its cycle, will melt under the sun, while its soul leaves its body and floats, glimpsing the present and remembering the past in a few moments.

Tracklist:
1. Disintegrate
Total: 44:48
