Elton John - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word Hotney 13 Streams • 2 years ago

Elton John's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" (1976) became one of his most timeless classic ballads, reaching No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 6 in the UK. Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, pianist and composer. Collaborating with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967 on more than 30 albums, John has sold over 300 million records, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits in the UK Singles Chart and US Billboard Hot 100, including nine number ones in the UK and nine in the US, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the US. His tribute single "Candle in the Wind 1997", rewritten in dedication to Diana, Princess of Wales, sold over 33 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling chart single of all time. According to Billboard in 2019, John is the top solo artist in US chart history (third overall), and the top Adult Contemporary artist of all time. This performance was recorded on December 18, 1978 for Dutch tv program ‘Voor de Vuist Weg”.

Lyrics:
Light cast so long before sound, before song
falls on your eyes and the dance starts again

And in this grand ballroom of nothingness
your hand so warm with somethingness
we whirl and twirl and music’s invented again
In this grand ballroom of nothingness
we soar, we sail to the only song there’s ever been: Love
The only song there’s ever been’s just begun: Love
The only song there’s ever been plays again: Love
It’s love

How marvelous just to be anything,
circling the hall to divine harmony

And in this grand ballroom of nothingness
your hand so warm with somethingness
we swirl, unfurl, and music’s invented again
In this grand ballroom of nothingness
we soar, we sail to the only song there’s ever been: Love
The only song there’s ever been’s just begun: Love
The only song there’s ever been plays again: Love
The only song there’s ever been never ends: Love

And against such staggering odds of anything at all
that lonely poet Chance called the dance and built the hall
and, with such modest hands, drew up plans and gave us all

Love

About A Minecraft Movie:
From Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures and starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, A Minecraft Movie, directed by Jared Hess, is the first ever big screen, live-action adaptation of Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time. Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn't just help you craft, it's essential to one's survival! Four misfits—Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Myers) and Dawn (Brooks)—find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve (Black). Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative…the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.
