Lyrics

Well, good for you, I guess you moved on really easily
You found a new girl and it only took a couple weeks
Remember when you said that you wanted to give me the world?

And good for you, I guess that you've been workin' on yourself
I guess that therapist I found for you, she really helped
Now you can be a better man for your brand new girl (Girl)

Well, good for you
You look happy and healthy, not me
If you ever cared to ask
Good for you
You're doin' great out there without me, baby
God, I wish that I could do that
I've lost my mind, I've spent the night
Cryin' on the floor of my bathroom
But you're so unaffected, I really don't get it
But I guess good for you

Well, good for you, I guess you're gettin' everything you want
You bought a new car and your career's really takin' off
It's like we never even happened
Baby, what the fuck is up with that?
And good for you, it's like you never even met me
Remember when you swore to God I was the only
Person who ever got you? Well, screw that, and screw you
You will never have to hurt the way you know that I do

Well, good for you
You look happy and healthy, not me
If you ever cared to ask
Good for you
You're doin' great out there without me, baby
God, I wish that I could do that
I've lost my mind, I've spent the night
Cryin' on the floor of my bathroom
But you're so unaffected, I really don't get it
But I guess good for you

Maybe I'm too emotional
But your apathy's like a wound in salt
Maybe I'm too emotional
Or maybe you never cared at all
Maybe I'm too emotional
Your apathy is like a wound in salt
Maybe I'm too emotional
Or maybe you never cared at all

Well, good for you
You look happy and healthy, not me
If you ever cared to ask
Good for you
You're doin' great out there without me, baby
Like a damn sociopath
I've lost my mind, I've spent the night
Cryin' on the floor of my bathroom
But you're so unaffected, I really don't get it
But I guess good for you

Well, good for you, I guess you moved on really easily

LYRICS

hate to give the satisfaction asking how you’re doing now
how’s the castle built off people you pretend to care about
just what you wanted
look at you, cool guy, you got it

i see the parties and the diamonds sometimes when i close my eyes
six months of torture
that you sold as some forbidden paradise
i loved you truly
gotta laugh at the stupidity

cuz i’ve made some real big mistakes
but you make the worst one look fine
i should’ve known it was strange
you only come out at night
i used to think i was smart
but you made
me look so naive
the way you sold me for parts
as you sunk your teeth into me, oh
bloodsucker, famefucker
bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire

every girl i ever talked to told me you were bad, bad news
you called them crazy god i hate the way i called them crazy too
you’re so convincing
how do you lie without flinching
(how do you lie, how do you lie, how do you lie)

oh, what a mesmerizing, paralyzing, fucked up little thrill
can’t figure out just how you do it and god knows i never will
went for me and not her
cuz girls your age know better

i’ve made some real big mistakes
but you make the worst one look fine
i should’ve known it was strange
you only come out at night
i used to think i was smart
but you made me look so naive
the way you sold me for parts
as you sunk your teeth into me, oh
bloodsucker, famefucker
bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire

you said it was true love
but wouldn’t that be hard
you can’t love anyone
cuz that would mean you had a heart
i tried you help you out
now i know that i can’t
cuz how you think’s the kind of thing
i’ll never understand

i’ve made some real big mistakes
but you make the worst one look fine
i should’ve known it was strange
you only come out at night
i used to think i was smart
but you made me look so naive
the way you sold me for parts
as you sunk your teeth into me, oh
bloodsucker, famefucker
bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire

Lyrics:

I got my driver's license last week
Just like we always talked about
'Cause you were so excited for me
To finally drive up to your house
But today I drove through the suburbs
Crying 'cause you weren't around

And you're probably with that blonde girl
Who always made me doubt
She's so much older than me
She's everything I'm insecure about
Yeah, today I drove through the suburbs
'Cause how could I ever love someone else?

And I know we weren't perfect but I've never felt this way for no one
And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone
Guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me
'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street

And all my friends are tired
Of hearing how much I miss you, but
I kinda feel sorry for them
'Cause they'll never know you the way that I do, yeah
Today I drove through the suburbs
And pictured I was driving home to you

And I know we weren't perfect
But I've never felt this way for no one, oh
And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay, now that I'm gone
I guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me
'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street

Red lights, stop signs
I still see your face in the white cars, front yards
Can't drive past the places we used to go to
'Cause I still ' love you, babe (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)

Sidewalks we crossed
I still hear your voice in the traffic, we're laughing
Over all the noise
God, I'm so blue, know we're through
But I still love you, babe (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)

I know we weren't perfect but I've never felt this way for no one
And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay, now that I'm gone
'Cause you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me
'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street
Yeah, you said forever, now I drive alone past your street

Lyrics:
I am dreaming of a paradise
Somewhere a little Paris like where I wanna be
Let’s travel to the greener side
A lovely place inside my mind
Don’t you want to see

Imagine layers in the game where we all players
No more stargazing or police car chasing
Imagine life that bring us Lauryn Hill type of singers
Even the righteous schemers still let Christ redeem us
Life is greener on this side the beauty that we see
Be coming from inside
Imagine if you a God and she a goddess
My people get free locked up from weed charges
We no longer targets or bodies on the market
Clean water coming out of Flint’s faucets it’s awesome
Not being petty but got petty cash
Everything on the path we already have
Imagine having a woman like Betty Shabazz
Steady with class, ready to blast, til the chariots pass
To take me to my new destination
I think in miracles it’s my imagination

I am dreaming of a paradise
Somewhere a little Paris like where I wanna be
Let’s travel to the greener side
A lovely place inside my mind
Don’t you want to see

Imagine days divine no longer in a race with time
Every day we wake up is a day to shine
Imagine you could turn water to your favorite wine
And when you taking down your girl you can take your time
Imagine loving you enough you don’t need a like
Kids father’s in they life just to lead them right
No longer worried about sickness because we are eating right
Amanda Gorman’s poems, mantras that we recite
Imagine not being politically correct but spiritually direct still giving the respect
Imagine if you could change the world through song
No longer do we have to pay back school loans
Imagine in the hood doin our own renovations
Another way to keep the dollars circulating
Mountain tops of patience just to heal a nation
Since I was little I had a big imagination

I am dreaming of a paradise
Somewhere a little Paris like where I wanna be
Let’s travel to the greener side
A lovely place inside my mind
Don’t you want to see

Good times without no care
Won’t you let me take you there
Don’t you want to come with me
Don’t you want to come and see x2

The Insane Story of Rapper JoeyAK Hotney 2 Streams • 3 years ago

JoeyAK, born Joël H. in 1997 in Amsterdam, is a rapper known for his gritty lyrics that seem to mirror his life. However, his reputation goes beyond music, involving a series of legal issues.

In his youth, he faced convictions for theft and firearm possession. His criminal connections became more apparent through his association with Zone6, a group accused of engaging in various illegal activities, including coke smuggling. The group allegedly exploits youngsters from disadvantaged neighborhoods, capitalizing on their desire for the luxurious lifestyle depicted in Joey's music videos.

In 2019, JoeyAK was implicated in a kidnapping case. Allegedly, he kidnapped a woman who had stolen money he had entrusted to her, subjecting her to violence and threats. This led to his imprisonment for three years in December 2020.

Despite his legal troubles, JoeyAK's rap career thrived. His songs, often written during incarceration, garnered millions of streams. However, he faced fresh allegations, such as involvement in a 2022 shooting in Suriname, which he denied vehemently.

Another incident involved the kidnapping and assault of fellow rapper Kobus L., Joey and several Zone6 members were arrested, though his lawyer maintained his innocence.

Prosecutors also sought to confiscate €815,000, claiming Joey's wealth primarily came from illegal activities rather than his music career.

JoeyAK's life is marked by a blurred line between his music persona and real-life actions, making him a controversial figure in the Dutch rap scene.

Lyrics:
Oh I met this man
And he melts me with his eyes
And his heart is closed
But his arms are open wide
And I’m tryna be a big girl
So I don’t ruin the vibe
As a gemini
Tryna take it slow
Is like a true man living a lie
Like a race car sat in the drive

All this love
I don’t know what to do
All this love
Can I show it to you
All this stress
And my little black dress
Could you take it off of me
Show me what I need
Show me what I need

I wanna go on a late night drive
Wind in my hair
And your hand on my thighs
Stop at the lights
And you kiss me like fire
Are you tryna be the man I admire

Taking it slow
Well I don’t no know how
Not with your lips like this
On my mouth
Stay up all night
I don’t mind if I’m tired
If you’re tryna be my man
You’re hired

Oooh baby
If you’re tryna be my man
You’re hired

I was happy alone
But then oh you changed my mind
And I was busy tonight
But for you oh I’ve got time
And all this sweat on your palms
Oh I’m squeezing your hands so tight
To be cool and calm and collected
I’ve tried
But it’s hard to hide these feelings at times
All the time my my

All this love
I don’t know what to do
All this love
Can I show it to you
All this stress
And my little black dress
Could you take it off of me
Show me what I need
Show me what I need

I wanna go on a late night drive

Well I don’t no know how

You’re hired

Oooh baby
If you’re tryna be my man
You’re hired x2

All this stress
And my little black dress
