#Shyne sits down with #Camron for an incredible conversation about his journey from Bad Boy Records to Belize politics. He talks about doing 10 years for something he says he didn't do, getting deported, and becoming a leader in Belize's House of Representatives. Shyne drops some news about his 25th anniversary tour with Live Nation and a three album deal with Warner Music Group. He keeps it real about his relationship with #Diddy, what happened at Club New York, and how Wolf helped save his album. Don't miss this.

✘ About me...

Born and raised in Bulgaria, currently living in Munich, Germany, I start listening to hip-hop when I was 12. I discovered the culture through legendary names such as KRS-One, Public Enemy, Biggie, Nas, Guru and Pac.
I started making beats as soon as my mom bought me a 150 $ second hand PC and I found a way to instal Fruity Loops on it.
My work is highly influenced by Premier, J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Just Blaze, Alchemist and Pete Rock. Even though the boombap sound is in the center of my production I constantly try to experiment and incorporate different genres and sounds in my music. Here I upload some compilations of classic instrumental music and also my beat tapes, my instrumentals and my own sounds...

Lyrics:

I know just how to whisper,
and I know just how to cry;
I know just where to find the answers;
and I know just how to lie.
I know just how to fake it,
and I know just how to scheme;
I know just when to face the truth,
and then I know just when to dream.
And I know just where to touch you,
and I know just what to prove;
I know when to pull you closer,
and I know when to let you loose.
And I know the night is fading,
and I know that time's gonna fly;
and I'm never gonna tell you everything
I've got to tell you,
but I know I've got to give it a try.
And I know the roads to riches,
and I know the ways to fame;
I know all the rules
and then I know how to break 'em
and I always know the name of the game.

Today’s feature is a different kind of story, where we’ll speak about the touchy topic of cultural appropriation, and how one man may have done it so well that he’s considered a music legend to some that know him. Snow is a singer from the 90s, who became famous for his first album and debut single you may have heard of called “Informer”. The album sold over 8 million copies worldwide and the song has since went multiple times platinum across the world. Not to mention being added to the Guinness book of world records as the best selling reggae single is US history and highest charting reggae song in history, beating Bob Marley and every other reggae legend to ever record music, and most importantly, were actually of Jamaican decent and culture. Snow was accepted and ran with the fake Jamaican accent, hip hop style, attitude and culture all the way to record books and surpassing many Jamaican icons in sales, promotion and historical relevance, all right beneath their noses and in plain sight. How’d that happen? How’d Snow successfully appropriate and finesse Jamaican culture? Cultural Appropriation At It’s Finest? How Snow Finessed EVERYONE!

Lyrics:
Waiting for May to come
Hoping for the rain
A memory held too long
Just another day

Oh what it could be
Oh what a dream to me

Memory burned and gone
A multicolored grey
Waiting for May to come
Happy for the rain

I’m not good at goodbyes
I miss the sunshine in your eyes
Who said cowboys don’t cry?
Come on baby let’s take one last ride

We’re riding around on this carousel if you catch my drift
We’re riding around on this wagon wheel, she took me for a spin
We’re riding around on this carousel, getting dizzy til we’re sick
Love is like a circle, there’s no easy way to end

It’s too much, I can’t take anymore
Stuck feeling like we’ve been here before
But now the sun stopped shining here in the wild west
My heart stopped beating and it sunk into my chest

We’re riding around on this carousel if you catch my drift
We’re riding around on this wagon wheel, she took me for a spin
We’re riding around on this carousel, getting dizzy til we’re sick
Love is like a circle, there’s no easy way to end

Just an outlaw, who only had one friend
I wonder if I’ll ever see her face again
Dark clouds hanging over, they follow where I’ve been
My cowboy tears are still blowing in the wind

We’re riding around on this carousel if you catch my drift
We’re riding around on this wagon wheel, she took me for a spin
We’re riding around on this carousel, getting dizzy til we’re sick
Love is like a circle, there’s no easy way to end

I’m not good at goodbyes
I miss the sunshine in your eyes
Who said cowboys don’t cry?
Come on baby let’s take one last ride

We’re riding around on this carousel if you catch my drift
We’re riding around on this wagon wheel, she took me for a spin
We’re riding around on this carousel, getting dizzy til we’re sick
Love is like a circle, there’s no easy way to end

Lyrics:
Here I lay
Still and breathless
Just like always
Still, I want some more
Mirrors sideways
Who cares what's behind?
Just like always
Still your passenger

The chrome buttons buckle on leather surfaces
These and other lucky witnesses
Now to calm me
This time won't you please
Drive faster

Roll the windows down this
Cool night air is curious
Let the whole world look in
Who cares who sees anything?
I'm your passenger
I'm your passenger

Drop these down
Then put them on me
Nice cool seats
There to cushion your knees
Now to calm me
Take me around again
Don't pull over
This time won't you please
Drive faster

Roll the windows down this
Cool night air is curious
Let the whole world look in
Who cares who sees what tonight?
Roll these misty windows
Down to catch my breath and then
Go and go and go just
Drive me home and back again

Here I lay
Just like always
Don't let me
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go
Take me to the edge

This was an emotional video to put together. Looking back at my career like this, I can only be humble, appreciative and truly grateful for you guys, the Walker community…

Thank you for all the moments, and for keep pushing me to do bigger and better things.
I dedicate this video to you -as well as my family and friends, who've kept me grounded for all these years. You’ve all made me Who I Am.

I hope you enjoy the video, and stay tuned for more... as I'm currently working on a performance video with Putri and Peder too. It's going to be very special. Can't wait for you to see and hear it!

Lyrics:

[Verse]
Don’t say this, don’t say that
I’m not playing by the rules
If they were made by you
I won’t break just like that
I’ll make my own mistakes
Till I’m wrong in all the right ways

[Hook]
Save all your tears
You don’t wanna waste them on me
I’m not gonna be just like them
This is just the way that I am
Head in the clouds
I do not fit in to the crowd
Baby it’s all making perfect sense
Cause this is who I am, who I am

[Verse 2]
Don’t say this, don’t say that
I’m not playing by the rules
If they were made by you
I won’t break just like that
I’ll make my own mistakes
Till I’m wrong in all the right ways

[Hook]
Save all your tears
You don’t wanna waste them on me
I’m not gonna be just like them
This is just the way that I am
Head in the clouds
I do not fit in to the crowd
Baby it’s all making perfect sense
Cause this is who I am, who I am

[Post]
If only I was wide awake
There’s more than I can take
And when you dive into the blue
I’ll be right next to you
I never wanna miss a thing
We fall in love again
You know I may hold on to you
Cause all that you go through
I’m with you

Nine Chen
曲 Composer：陳零九 Nine Chen
詞 Lyricist：陳零九 Nine Chen、崔惟楷 Luke”B.T.”Tsui
