Best Hip-Hop Groups & Best Rappers Of All Time, Best Rap Songs 2020, Most Popular Hip-Hop Songs - Hip-Hop Universe

I'm happy to present you the 2020 version of "The Best Rappers Of All Time". What makes a great rap group? Is it chemistry? Personalities? The body of work? All the essential ingredients have to be in place, of course. It also helps if the sum of the group is greater than its individual parts. The best rap groups come in various shades and sizes. The Wu-Tang Clan set the bar high for large crews. De La Soul proved that three really is the magic number. And groups like Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill showed that hip-hop has the power to bridge cultural gaps. We've come to love crews like N.W.A. and Public Enemy because they changed the landscape of hip-hop with their activism. These are the groups that live on in hip-hop lore. The very best of the best. These are the 100 greatest hip-hop groups of all time.

LYRICS:

Blow the bridge to the past / wipe the fingerprints
Melt your heart encased in wax / steal it with a kiss

Our fate engraved / scar enslaved / as we mutually destruct
Repose, my love, i’ve sinned enough for the both of us

In the name of love…..

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

I feed like you taught me and selflessly swallow
We coalesce in darkness, so selfishly hollow
Examine the wreckage / writhing in tempo
Invisible anguish casting a shadow

and in the name of love…

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

As we rest in pieces, though I know not your name /
I would suffer forever to absolve all your pain

And in the name of love

I’m ready to bury all of my bones
I’m ready to lie but say I won’t
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To rot in this garden made of stones
Eternally yours

I’m ready to bleed to make amends
And sleep in this dirt we call our bed
So tell me your secrets / and join me in pieces
To fall and rewrite the bitter end
Eternally yours

I’m more than willing to rot in hell with you.

🤍 “Beautiful” is my most intimate release, blending afro-pop vibes with emotions inspired by my time in Uganda. I discovered genuine kindness, warm smiles, and extraordinary souls that reshaped how I see life.

🤍 The video, filmed across villages, safaris, and traditional ceremonies, reflects purity, simplicity, and human grace. I hope you feel the love and truth in every frame and note.

Lyrics:
I’ve been thinking
That I got no idea what you’re thinking
Are you happy? Are you sad?
Are you always gonna hate me for that night in Tokyo?
When it ended
I kinda hoped that it’d be open ended
But you never looked back
Well I guess you can’t hold on to something once you let it go
But I know a place
Where we can be us
I know it ain’t real
But it’s real enough
From sun going down to sun coming up
It’s like you’re here with me
Whenever I close my eyes
It’s taking me back in time
Been drowning in dreams lately
Like it’s 2019 baby
Whenever I’m missing you
Call you up but I can’t get through
Don’t know where you sleep lately
But I’ll see you in my dreams maybe
We can catch up, drive down our old street
If all that we were is all that we’ll ever be
It’s bittersweet
At least a girl can dream
I guess that I’m taking what I can get
‘Cause I don’t get nothing new from your friends
If you got the harder side of the break
Then why is it harder for me to take
There’s so much I might never get to say, ay
But I know a place
Where we can be us
I know it ain’t real
But it’s real enough
From sun going down to sun coming up
It’s like you’re here with me
Whenever I close my eyes
It’s taking me back in time
Been drowning in dreams lately
Like it’s 2019 baby
Whenever I’m missing you
Call you up but I can’t get through
Don’t know where you sleep lately
But I’ll see you in my dreams maybe
We can catch up, drive down our old street
If all that we were is all that we’ll ever be
It’s bittersweet
At least a girl can dream
I-I-I know it’s only in my mind
Playing three nights on the stereo
Like a movie scene, DiCaprio
Oh l-I-I put my make up on just to fall asleep
It’s like you’re here with me
Whenever I close my eyes
It’s taking me back in time
Been drowning in dreams lately
Like it’s 2019 baby
Whenever I’m missing you
Call you up but I can’t get through
Don’t know where you sleep lately
But I’ll see you in my dreams maybe
We can catch up, drive down our old street
If all that we were is something we’ll never be
It’s bittersweet
Can we be friends at least

Icelandic Chinese singer-songwriter Laufey has a couple of theories regarding the popularity of her hit song “From the Start,” which has surpassed 80 million Spotify streams since its release in May. Maybe it’s got something to do with the music—a frothy mix of jazz and bossa nova that definitely stands out in today’s pop landscape. But it’s also the feeling the song describes—the awkwardness that takes hold when we’re in the presence of someone we secretly like.

“I think it’s also the brutal honesty of the lyrics,” Laufey says on the latest episode of Verified. “It’s very literal. I’m not trying to hide anything. I think a lot of people have felt that way before.”

☞ About the location

St. Pierre’s Cathedral is the telltale of over a thousand years of history.
After the first stones were laid in 375 A.D., a series of fire and cultural revolutions threatened - but did not ruin - the edifice. Instead, the place underwent a series of regular extensions and reconstructions through the course of its history, each characteristic of their contemporary style. For this reason, the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre is the majestic reunion of Roman, Gothic and Neoclassic styles. It now stands still as the city's main protestant church in the heart of the Vieille-Ville.

☞ About Post Tenebras Lux by Folamour

Post Tenebras Lux - "Light After Darkness" in latin - is an ode to hope, capable of shedding light in the darkest of nights. This radiant message is engraved in the heart of the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre in Geneva, in front of which Folamour premiered the track.

☞ GOLDEN HOUR

Cercle’s new signature fragrance was in the air in Geneva - a unique olfactory experience crafted by Ugo Charron from MANE Fragrance House and delivered by Scentair Olfactory System.
