This week on The Real Report, Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda sit down with Albee Al, Breannie, and Thunz for a raw conversation about Jersey, jail, street politics, music, and survival. Albee opens up about growing up around gentrification and the streets, doing time in max, getting respect behind the wall, how his music caught fire in the jails, and why he had to change his way of thinking. The crew also gets into Gunna and Young Thug, Lil Durk’s case, Pooh Shiesty, Gucci Mane, police technology, rats, ATL politics, Summer Jam, Jersey’s top rappers, and the advice Albee Al wants to give the kids coming up after him.

LYRICS:
Is your favorite color blue cause you something like my criptonite
I think I want you to maybe
Meet me at my crib tonight

Let’s get down and get it on the floor floor

Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep
Uh-huh
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep uh-huh
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep uh

I’m just tryna jump your bones
We don’t gotta jump the broom ya know
Might be cross the room
But in private we be super close
And plus it’s a go just
According to the horoscopes
Lookin like the stars align for life

Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep
Uh-huh
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep uh-huh
Wanna be a friend you can keep
F.u.c.k yea friend you can keep uh

I’m just tryna jump your bones
We don’t gotta jump the broom ya know

I’m just tryna jump your bones
We don’t gotta jump the broom ya know

Let me be the friend that you can keep
Pinky swear to keep you next to me
Like a charm that fits you perfectly
Uh-huh
Let me be the friend that you can keep
Pinky swear to keep you next to me
We can frame the bedroom memories
Ohh

=====================
About 2 Meter Sessions
====================
Based in the Netherlands, 2 Meter Sessions is an independent, ongoing (new) music platform with a great legacy. Monthly we film 3 to 4 sessions with promising and breakthrough acts from all over the world.

Many well-known acts have visited the show; from James Taylor, Elliott Smith and David Crosby to Damien Jurado, Ben Howard and Josh Ritter, via Radiohead, Nirvana, Coldplay and Foo Fighters. Archive footage can regularly be seen in (theatrical) documentary movies, like “Mystify: Michael Hutchence” (with footage of our session with INXS, filmed in 1997), “Heaven Adores You” (with footage of our session with Elliott Smith, filmed in 1998) and “All I Can Say” (with footage of our session with Blind Melon, filmed in 1993).

The show started back in 1987 by radio presenter Jan Douwe Kroeske. On his popular national radio show he persuaded New-Zealand band Crowded House to play a couple of songs. The response of the public was so great, that 2 Meter Sessions quickly became a household name. In 1993, the show made a successful transition to national television. From there the show became a national phenomenon, for over 10 years, with filmed sessions of new talent, breakthrough acts and arrived career artists. Almost a million of 2 Meter Sessions cd’s were sold in the Netherlands.

LYRICS

Rolling to the club got my boomstick
Exes heading out the back with their broomsticks
Got green glow coming out of my briefcase
I’m here’t spend it all, ain’t no cheapskate
Friday night going out to celebrate
Got a snack little later wrapped in cellophane
Give a shout to to Charlotte it’s her birthday
Cheap drinks, sticky floors, in my safe place

Driving cross lanes in my brand new car
Seat laid back cuz I’m going hard
Looking real slick with my big chainsaw
Cus I don’t give a fuck cuz I’ll do what I want

They say I’m crazy, I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
When I party oh I’m a phenomenon
You wanna hang with me but I’m already gone
They say I’m crazy, I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
Red lights flashing while we dance
We’re gonna end the night in an ambulance

Move you’re crowding up my headspace
Man you’re boring me ya giving me a brain ache
Getting good vibes, good times all day
If you don’t wanna join me then you can go away

She got short shorts high waist
Love that she like to watch me road rage
Ya know that I could just do this all day
And if you don’t like it then you can go away

Driving cross lanes in my brand new car
Seat laid back cuz I’m going hard
Looking real slick with my big chainsaw
Cus I don’t give a fuck cuz I’ll do what I want

They say I’m crazy I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
When I party oh I’m a phenomenon
You wanna hang with me but I’m already gone
They say I’m crazy I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
Red lights flashing while we dance
We’re gonna end the night in an ambulance

Feeling Fine
Feeling Good

They say I’m crazy I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
When I party oh I’m a phenomenon
You wanna hang with me but I’m already gone
They say I’m crazy I feel amazing
Why the fuck don’t nothing phase me
Red lights flashing while we dance
We’re gonna end the night in an ambulance

Jefferson Airplane, Joni Mitchell & Crosby Stills play Live, and Talk, at the Dick Cavett Show. 19th of August 1969. The day after Woodstock...

(song tracklist below)

This is as much a serious historical document, as it is a sort of a satire. Just a little joke ; )

The movie was conceived by the Bizarre Bazaar. It features part of the original Dick Cavett show, with some transitions added to suit the concept. The video was treated, but the main focus of improvement on this one was the audio of the songs, which was remastered.

Note: Joni Mitchell played a couple more songs... And - please don't beat me - but I'd taken them out for this one, even though I know she missed the festival to play here... (?) So, I think that - at the very least - she deserves a movie on her own... One I intend to do in the future.... ; )

For now, you'll have to stick with this one...

Hope you'll like it.

Tracklist:

1. Jefferson Airplane - We Can Be Together 4:20
2. Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers 10:02
3. Joni Mitchell - Chelsea Morning 15:12
4. Joni Mitchell - Willy 18:15
5. Stephen Stills - 4+20 33:09
6. Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to Love. 37:11
7. Jefferson Airplane - Ending Jam 40:50

Taylor Swift got called out for ignoring Céline Dion at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, but backstage photos tell a different story.

Dion, 55, presented the night’s final award, Album of the Year, to Swift, 34, for “Midnights.”

The Canadian singer’s surprise appearance was a big deal, as Dion has stayed out of the spotlight since being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome in December 2022.

In December 2023, Dion’s older sister, Claudette, gave French-language magazine 7 Jours a heartbreaking update about the singer’s condition.
