LYRICS:

Called to say hello
Your voice always takes the pain away
The thought is unimaginable
That I saw you for the last time and didn’t know

You were the one that I wasn’t supposed to lose
I thought I’d have you for a lifetime
Have you for my lifetime

Now I'm walkin ‘round in a haze
There’s no color only darker shades of grey
You showed me the way when I was lost and alone
But you never really showed me how to let you go

You were the one that I wasn’t supposed to lose
I thought I’d have you for my lifetime
Have you for a lifetime
Who do I talk to when I wanna talk to you?
I thought I’d have you you for a lifetime
Have you for a lifetime

Never again
Never again will I look into the only eyes that knew me
Feels like a bullet right through me
Never again
Never again will I look into the only eyes that knew me

You were the one that I wasn’t supposed to lose
I thought I’d have you for a lifetime
Have you for a lifetime

You were the one that I wasn’t supposed to lose
I thought I’d have you for a lifetime
Have you for a lifetime

Lyrics:
Summertime
Summertime
Summertime blue
You took all my lovin

Summertime
Summertime
It’s true
I’m still thinking of you

Left you in a daydream
Now you’re washing over me

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime blue

Thought I was feeling good
I was on a roll
Didn’t let it show
But I was falling for you
Splashing, laughing, loving
Just like a fool
Was there an undertow
When I pulled you close?

And now I’m wondering
(Are) your castles crumbling too?
Ooh, ooh

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime blue
You took all my lovin’

Summertime
Summertime
It’s true
I’m still thinking of you

Left you in a daydream
Now you’re washing over me

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime blue

Do you feel it too?

Still see the sunlight
Dancing off your hair
But I didn’t dare
Let you catch me

Dreaming
My mind was
Running wild
In the heat of your smile
Now it’s been a while
Since I heard from you

And now I’m wondering
Were you just passing through?
Oh ohhh

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime Blue
You took all my lovin’

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime
It’s true
I’m still thinking of you

Left you in a daydream
Now you’re washing over me

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime Blue

Yeah I feel it too

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime it’s true
I’m still thinking of you

Left you in a daydream
Now you’re washing over me

Summertime
Summertime
Summertime blue

Blue

All because of you
