What Happened To Loose Ends? | Creative Differences or Major Drama Behind The Scenes? Hotney 4 Streams • 3 years ago

Steve Nichol, Jane Eugene and Carl McIntosh came together in London, England to form the British soul band Loose Ends in 1980. The group was founded by Steve after he left the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He would meet Jane at a party and, together, they decided to create a band that at one point had nearly a dozen members in it. Throughout the process, they also looked for a bass player. They tried out numerous musicians but, none of them quite felt like the missing piece of the puzzle that they were looking for. Until they met Carl McIntosh. It was a no brainer that he was the one.

Offset Tells Epic Takeoff Story, Calls Out Shannon Sharpe's Pants & Talks Public vs Private Hotney 13 Streams • 3 years ago

Offset comes to Club Shay Shay to chop it up with Shannon Sharpe ahead of his solo tour, promising a spectacle like Usher’s Las Vegas residency, filled with showmanship honed from his days as a backup dancer for Whitney Houston and TLC. Reflecting on his early exposure to the entertainment world, Offset shares how Michael Jackson's influence shaped his artistry, particularly in visuals and music videos, recalling fond memories of family bonding over MJ's iconic hits on MTV. With humor and humility, Offset ranks the Migos in Atlanta and all of hip-hop history, discusses honoring Takeoff at the BET Awards with Quavo and how Pharrell Williams was instrumental in orchestrating the performance, and dishes out anecdotes showcasing the lighter side of his Takeoff’s personality. Shannon makes Offset pick between Nike Air Force 1s and Air Jordan 1s; an incredibly difficult choice for a sneakerhead like Offset. From fashion choices to investment strategies, Offset delves into his philosophy on luxury brands and the lessons learned navigating the music industry, including the impact of streaming and TikTok on hip-hop. Playful banter ensues as Offset calls Shannon an “old head” for not going to hip-hop concerts and wearing skinny jeans. Offset reveals the creative process behind his adlibs and how his collaboration with Ric Flair came about, offering insights into the importance of personal connections to the development of an artist. Lastly Offset talks about his ongoing evolution as an artist, making for a fitting end to a conversation that spans music, fashion, pop culture and everything in between.

Lyrics:
(Where my country girls at)
Mr. Worldwide
(Where they at where they at)
Luke Bryan (uh)
(Where my country girls at)
Trace Adkins (hmm hmm)
(Where they at where they at)
It’s a classic
(Where my country girls at) - Let’s go

Got the mud off my boots
I Got the smell good on
Got the truck shined up
See yourself in the chrome
Crankin' that key, about to get gone
Callin' all my boys on the phone

Where the country girls at
Where they gon' be
The ones that like to dance
The ones that like to drink
Every homegrown 10, down home pretty
Holla on back, hit me with yourtwenty
Where they’re swingin' them jeans
To a hillbilly track
Put me smack dab
In the middle of that
Drop a pin on the map
Get me there fast
Where the country girls at

Where's my Alabama red
Where's my Tennessee wild
Talkin' Tallahassee legs

I need a Georgia peach smile
New York City, California coast
Somebody let a brother know

Where the country girls at
Where they gon' be
The ones that like to dance
Ones that like to drink
Every homegrown 10, down home pretty
Holla on back, hit me with yourtwenty
Where they’re swingin' them jeans
To a hillbilly track
Put me smack dab
In the middle of that
Drop a pin on the map
Get me there fast
Where the country girls at

Where they at
Let’s Go

Yeah I’m talkin'
Parking lot, dive bar
Keg party, old barn
All I know is I wanna go

Hit’em Pitbull (where they at)

I’m at the NASCAR epicenter
Daytona 500 Grand Marshall
Trackhouse representer (Daniel Suarez)
While Combs hit the stage
I’m in the suite
Next to the greatest of all time
Baby MJ (Twenty-three)
Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw
Show me love
Trace Adkins, Pitbull
Luke Bryan throw'em up (throw’em up)

Now where my country girls at
With they daisy daisy dukes
Cowboy boots and they cowboy hats (I said)

Where my country girls at
With they daisy daisy dukes
Cowboy boots and they cowboy hats

Where the country girls at
Where they gon' be
The ones that like to dance
Ones that like to drink
Every homegrown 10, down home pretty

Holler on back, hit me with your twenty
Where they’re swingin' them jeans
To a hillbilly track
Put me smack dab

In the middle of that
Drop a pin on the map
Get me there fast
Where the country girls at

Yeah drop a pin on the map
Get me there fast
Where the country girls at

Where my country girls at
(Hey hey hey hey)
(Where they at)
Lawd where the country girls at

Where my country girls at
Where the country girls at
(Where they at)
Gotta let a bother know

The ones that like to hunt
The ones that like to fish
The ones that like to shake it to a song like this

Yeah where the country girls at
(Hey hey hey hey)
Where they at
