Primary Production Location: Los Angeles, California

Michael Jackson's short film for "You Rock My World" was one of two short films produced for recordings from Invincible, Michael's sixth album as an adult solo performer. As a single, "You Rock My World" was a No. 1 hit in France, Spain Portugal, Poland and Romania, and reached the Top 10 in another 16 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Australia. In the United States, the single reached the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 (his 28th career Top 10 single in America), Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic Top 40-marking Michael's fourth consecutive decade with a Top 10 hit since the 1970s.

The ambitious, 13-minute "You Rock My World" short film features guest appearances from Chris Tucker, Michael Madsen and Marlon Brando (in one of his final film appearances). Michael and Chris follow a beautiful girl (Kiyasha Dudley) into a club, where Michael attempts to woo her from a potential suitor (Madsen). Michael's seduction causes a fight between an enforcer (Billy Drago) and himself, which results in a fire breaking out in the club. Michael briefly encounters the club's boss (Brando) before escaping with Chris and the girl.

The "You Rock My World" short film won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Music Video in 2002.

Chorus:
You rocked my world, you know you did
And everything I own I give (You rocked my world)
The rarest love who'd think I'd find
Someone like you to come by (You rocked my world)
You rocked my world, you know you did (Girl)
And everything I own I give (I want you, girl)
The rarest love who'd think I'd find
Someone like you to call mine

↓ LYRICS ↓

You’ve been lonely for so long
Flying solo, and that’s wrong
You’re self sufficient, don’t need a man
Too many dickheads, messed up your plans

But don’t be anxious, Be carefree
And don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me
Keep your heart open, give me the key
And don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Oh don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me
Oh Ah Don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Oh don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me
Oh Ah Don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up, I could be the one you love
Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up

Don’t fight the moonlight, can’t switch it off
Don’t fight the way I, turn you on
Your pulse is racing, your lips are wet
We’re face to face and, I’m not a threat

But don’t be anxious, Be carefree
And don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me
Keep your heart open, give me the key
And don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up, I could be the one you love
Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up, I could be the one you love

Oh don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me
Oh Ah Don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up, I could be the one you love
Take a chance, understand, I could be, be your man
Free your mind, open up, I could be the one you love

Oh don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me (Don’t be)
Don’t be afraid of catching feelings for me

Take a chance
Take a chance
Take a chance
Understand

[Verse 1]
This night is cold in the kingdom
I can feel you fade away
From the kitchen to the bathroom sink and your steps keep me awake

[Pre-Chorus]
Don't cut me down, throw me out, leave me here to waste
I once was a man with dignity and grace
Now I'm slipping through the cracks of your cold embrace
So please, please

[Chorus]
Could you find a way to let me down slowly?
A little sympathy, I hope you can show me
If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving, baby let me down slowly
Let me down, down
Let me down, down
Let me down, let me down
Down, let me down, down
Let me down

If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving, baby let me down slowly

[Verse 2]
Cold skin, drag my feet on the tile
As I'm walking down the corridor
And I know we haven't talked in a while
So I'm looking for an open door

* [Pre-Chorus]
* [Chorus]

[Bridge]
And I can't stop myself from falling down (x4)

** [Chorus]
If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving, baby let me down slowly

SHAKRA - Invincible (2023) // Official Music Video // AFM Records

«You are invincible—it happens in your brain». That's the core message of the single “Invincible” by the five Swiss hard rockers SHAKRA, who really kick off the new year with this anthem featuring powerful walls of guitars and haunting melodies. As simple as this statement may sound, it stands for the essential in everyone's life, the ability to have an unbreakable will and thereby achieve or create great things. But not only that. It can also mean being able to pull oneself out of the deepest swamp and be perceived in this society as a person steeled with self-confidence. The song is a source of power to strengthen exactly this will. You can achieve anything, not if you believe in it, but if you know it... and that makes you invincible!

Lyrics:
You’ve lost all sensation
Been left out in the rain
No imagination
And you feel hit again

But when you start believing
Don’t sink in darkness again
And all your worries are leaving
And you can break the chain

Set yourself free, there is so much to see

You are invincible
You are invincible
It happens in your brain
It happens in your brain

No one imagines
What is deep down inside
Hold on to your passions
And lay your doubts aside

Satisfy your desires
Which were always denied
Just like a phoenix from fire
On your face there is pride

Set your mind free, there is so much to be

You are invincible
You are invincible
It happens in your brain
It happens in your brain

You are invincible
You are invincible
It’s running through your veins
Rise up, defeat your pains
