yrics:
Found your note in my pocket
That you wrote on the train
Razor’s still in the socket
And my hairs in the drain
Hold my breath and count to 30
Ever since you left I don’t feel worthy
Under house arrest, the dishes dirty
Couldn’t stay home, stay home
Too much pain in my pleasure
With an 8th in my purse
Well you never looked better
But I’ve never felt worse
Washed my sheets and changed my number
Go to therapy and acupuncture
Saw you at the bar with David’s brother
Should’ve stayed home, stayed home
Coming around again
It’s keeping me down like the bends
Tried to be a different person
Made a joke and took a shot
What a way to learn your lesson
Who you are and who you’re not
My my mind mind in the gutter
On a moonlit drive, la lackluster
Got me wishing I was David’s brother
On the way home
Should’ve stayed home
Coming around again
It’s keeping me down like the bends
Oh I still wait outside for you
Wonder why I always seem to lose
I never mind the way I hurt for you
All the time
Coming around again
It’s keeping me down like the bends
Coming around again
Keeping me down like the bends
