Under The Bridge - The Red Hot Chili Peppers Story┃Documentary Hotney 10 Streams • 3 years ago

Anthony Kiedis, Michael Balzary, Chad Smith and John Frusciante. Four musicians that collectively, have been the longest standing members of a funk rock band from Los Angeles, California. It’s fair to say the group have experienced their fair share of trauma, drama and sadly, death. The original line up that formed in 1982 would be plagued with an addiction that would end in a fatal tragedy for one of their early members.

#RHCP #UNDERTHEBRIDGE #DOCUMENTARY

To date, they have released 13 studio albums that feature a range of genres influenced by funk, reggae, pop, punk, disco and rock. Spanning a 40 plus year career they’ve become one of the biggest selling artists in recent times, seeing huge commercial success with songs such as Californication, Can’t Stop, By The Way and Give It Away.

Not only have they dipped their fingers into a global cultural pie throughout the years, they also became the centre of attention in 2012 after being targeted by anti-Israel campaigners who tried to force the band to cancel a planned show in Tel Aviv due to political tensions between the East and the West.

LYRICS
I don’t wanna…

Rat race, place to place, adding weight,
Tendencies on repeat, innit,
Benefit from a shoe with no lace,
Take the seat with the crease in it,

I don’t mind if it’s lonely, I don’t mind if it’s fair,
I don’t care, you control me,
Leading me anywhere.

I don’t wanna backslide to where I started from,
There’s no chance I will shake this again,

’Cause I feel the pull, water’s over my head,
Strength enough for one more time,
Reach my hand above the tide,
I’ll take anything you have,
If you could throw me a line,
I should’ve loved you better,
Do you think that now’s the time
You should let go?

It's over my head.

Bad place on a hundred dollar bass,
Kind of wishing that I never did Saturday,
Is that a stain? You should change.
Are you doing good? Did you solve all of your problems?
Thanks for asking, in a way but,
Accidentally uncovered a new one yesterday,
What happened to what I brushed under the rug,
I used to be the champion of a world you can’t see,

Now I’m drowning in logistics.

Lyrics:
Wait The Man, con los Gucci en mis pies
300k por chanteo, Rondon I’m the best

Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Wait the man, Fuma pa’ que la nota se te explote
Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Y aquí nos fuimo’ under

Estoy feliz, me meti molly

Me gustan tu y tu amiga

Si te activas yo me activo ma’ yo siempre quiero

Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Wait the man, Fuma pa’ que la nota se te explote
Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Si me dejas yo te meso

To los culos pal bote

Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Wait the man, Fuma pa’ que la nota se te explote
Wait the man, pa’ que tu mueva’ ese culote
Wait the man, Tu eres la favorita de los bichotes
Wait the man, Como todas baby loca con los botes

Lyrics
Things haven’t been quite the same,
There’s a haze on the horizon babe,
It’s only been a couple of days and I miss you,
Mmm yeah,
When nothing really goes to plan,
You stub your toe, or break your camera,
I’ll do everything I can to help you through,

If you’re feeling down,
I just wanna make you happier baby,
Wish I was around,
I just wanna make you happier baby,

We’ve been doing all this late night talking,
About anything you want until the morning,
Now you’re in my life,
I can’t get you off my mind,

I’ve never been a fan of change,
But I’d follow you to any place,
If it’s Hollywood or Bishopsgate, I’m coming too,

If you’re feeling down,
I just want to make you happier baby,
Wish I was around,
I just wanna make you happier baby,

We’ve been doing all this late night talking,
About anything you want until the morning,
Now you’re in my life,
I can’t get you off my mind,

Can’t get you off my mind,
Can’t get you off my mind,
I won’t even try,
To get you off my mind,
Get you off my mind,

We’ve been doing all this late night talking,
About anything you want until the morning,
Now you’re in my life,
I can’t get you off my mind,

Can’t get you off my mind,
(All this late night talking),
Can’t get you off my mind,
(All this late night talking),
I won’t even try,
(All this late night talking),
Can’t get you off my,
(All this late night talking),
