Collect Call With Suge Knight, Episode 7: Jealousy Is Worse Than Hate Hotney 6 Streams • 3 years ago

In this episode, Suge talks about how he valued giving back and describes the way he grew up in Compton. Suge opens up for the first time in a long time about Tupac and describes how hard Tupac worked to make Death Row a family and get everyone on the label involved with the making of All Eyez On Me. He discusses how he feels when he hears about rappers who have been killed and how the recent death of Takeoff from the Migos affected him. Suge pinpoints the communication breakdown that occurred between him and Snoop after Tupac died.

5:32 Suge takes us back to when he first moved into his original neighborhood in Compton. He runs down some of the guys and families he came up with and talks about the role his father played in pushing him

10:50 Suge talks about the first time he went on tour for The Chronic and shouts out the guys who he put on from his neighborhood

16:42 Suge talks about opening up a lowrider shop in Compton that was called “Let Me Ride” as a way to provide jobs and give back to the neighborhood

18:10 Suge says he can talk freely about Pac for the first time in a long time, and how Pac is finally getting justice

19:03 Suge explains why jealousy is worse than hate

19:45 Suge recalls a meeting with Tupac and how the name for the album All Eyez On Me was created

23:14 When Pac gets bigger than everyone on Death Row, the jealousy starts to kick in

24:23 Suge says he thinks jealousy is what ruined Death Row and says we should never have to go through this again

27:05 When Takeoff got killed it really hit home for Suge and inspired him to have an illustration made of him that he tried to send to Cardi B and Offset

29:48 Suge talks about how important it was that Death Row was the first place where you could see Bloods and Crips gang members working together and getting along together

30:48 After Suge went to jail in 1996, he wanted to put Snoop in position to lead the company. But they never had a chance to talk after Snoop got turned away at the visiting center

32:19 Suge addresses the NFL for promoting gang activity and not understanding the reality of how many people have lost their lives and are doing prison time

34:16 Suge talks about plans to make Death Row the biggest music distributor in the game

Fozzy - Nowhere To Run (Official Video) Hotney 9 Streams • 3 years ago

"Nowhere To Run"
LISTEN HERE: https://red.lnk.to/nowheretorun

Lyrics:
I'm buried alive like a landmine
Or a dead man
No easy way out (No easy way out)
I'm out of the eyes of the spotlight
Only do or die
No saving this town (I knew it now)
It's a hard way out of hell
And I did it to myself
I'm at the point of no return
Where do I go, go from here
Hold my ground, I'll disappear
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run, oh
Now that I'm all out of time
One last stand to make it right
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run
Staring at the barrel of a gun
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
I can feel it burning in my lungs
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run
All of my days catching up with me
No sympathy
Here where I belong (Here where I belong)
Out of the beast that's in front of me
Let the mirror speak
Reflecting who's wrong (It's always me)
It's a hard way out of hell
And I did it to myself
I'm at the point of no return
Before I burn
Where do I go, go from here
Hold my ground, I'll disappear
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run, oh
Now that I'm all out of time
One last stand to make it right
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run
Staring at the barrel of a gun
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
I can feel it burning in my lungs
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run
It's a hard road out of hell
And I've done it to myself
Even God can't save me now
Where do I go, go from here
Hold my ground, I'll disappear
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run, oh
Now that I'm all out of time
One last stand to make it right
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run
Staring at the barrel of a gun
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
I can feel it burning in my lungs
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run
Nowhere to run, nowhere to run

Letra:

(Multimillio Records)

Y no vamo’ a dormir
Siempre vamos a volver W y Yandel

No te vayas quédate otro ratito
Quiero pasarla contigo bien rico
Pegao’ pegao’ cuerpo a cuerpo sudao’
Guayando hasta abajo los dos bien afincaos

(W)

No te vayas quédate otro ratito
Quiero pasarla contigo bien rico
Pegao’ pegao’ cuerpo a cuerpo sudao’
Guayando hasta abajo los dos bien afincaos

(Omar courtz)

No te vayas quédate otro ratito
Quiero pasarla contigo bien rico
Pegao’ pegao’ cuerpo a cuerpo sudao’
Guayando hasta abajo los dos bien afincaos

No te vayas quédate otro ratito

Baby a mí me mata tu actitud
Besarte

No te vayas quédate otro ratito

No te vayas quédate otro ratito
Quiero pasarla contigo bien rico
Pegao’ pegao’ cuerpo a cuerpo sudao’
Guayando hasta abajo los dos bien afincaos

(Mr. W)
