Deep Sade Love | Melancholic Deep House DJ Mix || A tribute to Sade || Kinka, Dragutesku, Quasar Hotney 9 Streams • 3 years ago

Filmed at my friend's apartment in Noblessner, Tallinn, Estonia.

Behind the mix:
Sade was always my go-to when I was deeply in love with someone.
As I’m getting older and, hopefully, wiser, I avoid romanticising unreciprocated love.
True love is light and easy – and, most importantly, – they love you back, right?
Never the less, my love for Sade’s music is ingrained deeply in my heart.
The melancholy, the sound of her voice, the lyrics… I could write a book about it, but let’s just listen to the music. 🖤
I recorded and published the first version of this mix a year ago, but as I wasn’t happy with the transitions, so I decided to polish it off and re-record it with a video.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!

Bad Wolves - Sober (Lyrics):

For a moment I can wait
It’s a fight I guess I’ll never know
For a moment I can wait
I’m holding on to hope

And I know your stoned I can see it
The struggle’s getting old
For a moment I can wait

‘Cause you said you’re sober
Lying and I can’t get closer
Tell me should I let you go?
Tell me should I let you go?
‘Cause you said you’re sober
Lying and I can’t get closer
Tell me should I let you go?
Tell me should I let you go?

Every moment I’m awake
It’s a fight that you could never know
Every moment I’m awake
I’m clinging on to hope

And I feel so low but I’m dealing
The struggle’s getting old
Every moment I’m awake

But I’m getting sober
Trying but I can’t get closer
Baby did you let me go?
Baby did you let me go?
Now I’m getting sober
Trying but I can’t get closer
Baby did you let me go?
Baby did you let me go?
(Go)

On and on we pray
Thinking ‘bout time and our mistakes
Thinking ‘bout time
Thinking ‘bout time
‘Cause it’s about time
(Go)

On and on we pray
Thinking ‘bout time and our mistakes
Thinking ‘bout time
Thinking ‘bout time
‘Cause it’s about time
(‘Cause it’s about time)

So don’t say it’s over
Waiting here while you get sober
I’m never gonna let you go
I’m never gonna let you go
So don’t say it’s over
Waiting here while you get sober
I’m never gonna let you go
I’m never gonna let you go
(Go)

On and on we pray
Thinking ‘bout time and our mistakes
Thinking ‘bout time
Thinking ‘bout time
‘Cause it’s about time
(‘Cause it’s about time)

On and on we pray
Thinking ‘bout time and our mistakes
Thinking ‘bout time
Thinking ‘bout time
It’s about time

Lyrics:

Fading out into obscurity
Up to my eyes
With all the absurdity
Bullshit that comes out your mouth
Ain't concerning me
You’re never hurting me
Looking foolish universally
Spreading disease with your pestilence
Playing your internet game
For the hell of it
Grasping at straws
To deem yourself relevant
With crystal clarity
Lacking the etiquette
I don’t want to talk about your temperament
I don’t want to come across, spittin’ like a pessimist
We’re bad friends? Nah, we just met the requisite
Crawling on glass, cause a motherfuckers delicate
Backstage, waiting on my settlement
In the meantime head up, I’ll remain a gentleman
But we all know that you’re just so negligent
Any given Sunday like the motherfucking testament

Fuck

You can’t just leave well enough alone
Just look at
What it’s done to you
We’ve seen enough of you

No one cares who it is that you blame today
Hope you find help you need
So your soul can change
I’m not your enemy
Just set yourself free

Flashback
Cause I need another minute
And the devil’s on my back
Cocks*cker can’t just let it (go)
Always crying about your “credit”
But you have none
Even if you spend a lot to get it (oh)
Like a hate filled collision
With a taste for division
So it Seems like your mission (so)
Watch a grown man cry about it
Try to tough guy about it
Motherfucker, die about it

F*ck

You can’t just leave well enough alone

No one cares who it is that you blame today
Hope you find help you need
So your soul can change
I’m not your enemy
Just set yourself free

No one cares who it is that you blame today
Hope you find help you need
So your soul can change
I’m not your enemy
Just set yourself free

Why can’t you look in my eyes
Why’d you believe in the lie
Ashes to ashes designed
And we’re running outta time
They want to live in your mind
Caustic & buried alive
Breaking the bones in your spine
Get the fuck outta my sight

You can't just leave well enough alone
Die about it

No one cares who it is that you blame today
Hope you find help you need
So your soul can change
I’m not your enemy
Just set yourself free

No one cares who it is that you blame today
Hope you find help you need
So your soul can change
I’m not your enemy
Just set yourself free
Die about it

Lyrics

If you’re free tomorrow don’t make any plans
We can go to sylvan park and kick over trash cans
Love is all around me everywhere I turn
Is that the smell of fall or the city burned

There’s a mustang in the city
And it's calling me out
Are you a mustang or a kitty
What are you all about

There’s a golden globe in my office space
A muscle magazine next to the toilet
I’m getting big and strong just thinking about it
And I can feel the heat of the water rise

There’s a mustang in the city
And it's calling me out
Are you a mustang or a kitty
What are you all about

I saw em operating on the kid downstairs
I could not be bothered to pretend to care
I like to watch you eat in front of the camera
And there’s a misty morning in your eyes

There’s a mustang in the city
And it's calling me out
Are you a mustang or a kitty
What are you all about
It’s just a mistake and a pity
And its drowning the crowd
Are you a mustang or a kitty
Are you a mustang or a kitty

There was something amiss in your apology

There’s a mustang in the city
And it's calling me out
Are you a mustang or a kitty
What are you all about
It’s a mistake and a pity
Dragging me down
Are you a mustang or a kitty
Are you a mustang or a kitty
