KEVIN GATES: "I Pray Before Having Sex" | I AM ATHLETE S4 Ep 10 Hotney 8 Streams • 4 years ago

Kevin Gates, rapper, songwriter, world class chef, world class tracklete/athlete, and health and wellness advocate, joins Brandon Marshall, Lesean Shady McCoy, and DeSean Jackson for Season 4 Episode 10 of I Am Athlete.

Kevin Gates takes us through a refreshing and self awakening journey through deep conversation. Gates answers the question of "Who is Kevin Gates" to open up the show and transition into his perspective of love at first sight, reading people's energy, his master in psychology degree, the power he posses, and his time in prison being the best time of learning about himself through isolation.

Gates touches on the discipline he has during the holy month of Ramadan and claims that the cure to everything is fasting, his view point on sex and praying before he does it, his pilates and yoga journey, semen control, celibacy, his mentality deriving from his grandfather, seeing Nipsey Hussle a couple day before his death, and his transition from 2015 Kevin Gates to now, 2023. #KevinGates #Ramadan #MentalHealth

Lyrics:
A world of smoke and fire
Beneath the blood red sun
Eruptions, storm and thunder
Show destruction has begun

We didn’t hear the warnings
We never saw the signs
There’s suffering and vengeance
Leave your hopes and dreams behind

A kingdom will rise now from heaven above
The gates open up for our defeat

So fear the fury of the gods
Lightning’s strike and burn the sky again
Fear the fury of the gods
Rage will hit you as you fight in vein
Fear the fury of the gods

We watch the mountains tremble
And crumble to the sea
The reapers are among us
We'll meet our destiny

As armies, kings and heroes
Are drowning in a flood
The world we knew is ending
You can feel in your blood

A new reign will rise from the heavens above
The gates open up for our defeat

So fear the Fury Of The Gods
Lightning’s strike and burn the sky again
Fear the fury of the gods
Rage will hit you as you fight in vein
Fear the fury of the gods
