LYRICS
Verse 1
There’s a lot of talk goin’ ‘round town
I hear a lot of people running their mouths Every word like an anchor just bringing them
Down, down, down
We’ve all been looking for a silver lining Something to hold on to when hopes been hiding
I know a place where you can go
If you wanna find it

Chorus
This is the good news
If you’re breathing, it’s for you An empty grave
To a life that’s changed
It all points to Jesus Name
If you’ve been searching And nothings been working
I’ve got good news Jesus Loves You

Verse 2
Open up your eyes and look around you This is a place where your freedom is found Take a minute, Breathe it in
Watch your life turn upside down

Chorus
This is the good news
If you’re breathing, it’s for you An empty grave
To a life that’s changed
It all points to Jesus Name
If you’ve been searching And nothings been working
I’ve got good news Jesus Loves You

Bridge
No matter what you bring Oh He’s in love with you No matter your history
Oh He's in love with
No matter your unbelief
Oh He's in love with
From now ‘til eternity
He’ll still be in love with you

Lyrics:
Lido missed the boat that day
He left the shack
But that was all he missed
And he ain't comin' back
At a tombstone bar
In a juke joint car
He made a stop
Just long enough
To grab a handle off the top
Next stop Chi town
Lido put the money down
Let 'em roll
He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One for the road
Lido
Whoah oh oh oh
He's for the money
He's for the show
Lido's waitin for the go
Lido
Whoah oh oh oh oh oh
He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One more for the road
Lido will be runnin'
Havin' great big funnin'
Till he got the note
Sayin' tow the line or blow it
And that was all he wrote
He'll be makin' like a bee line
Headin' for the border line
Goin' for broke
Sayin' one more hit ought to do it
This joint ain't nothin' to it
One more for the road
Lido
Woah oh oh oh
He's for the money
He's for the show
Lido's waitin' for the go
Lido
Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh
One more job ought to get it
One last shot then we quit it
One more for the road
Lido
Woah oh oh oh
He's for the money
He's for the show
Lido's a waitin' for the go
Lido
Woah oh oh oh oh oh
One more job ought to get it

Lyrics:
I used to live like a rebel
Didn’t wanna behave
Thought a wretch like me couldn’t ever be saved
But everything changed, I remember the day
When I heard Him calling my name

Like a thief in the night
He snuck in, took my life
I was dead now I’m alive and singing

I got stolen by the grave robber
Picked me up from that rock bottom
Washed my soul in that Holy water
Brought me back to life
One more stone rolled away
One more sinner been saved by grace
This dead man, he ain’t dead no longer
All because of that grave robber

Maybe you’re the one thinking
That you’ll never be right
Even though your momma praying for you every night
Praying Jesus gonna find you and open your eyes
Well maybe right now’s that time

Like a thief in the night
He’ll sneak in, take your life
That resurrection gonna have you singing

Taking my sin, taking my shame
Breaking my soul out of these chains
I’m a dead man living
And God did it
Taking my sin, taking my shame
Breaking my soul out of these chains
I’ve been forgiven
And God did it

Jesus is the rock and he rolls my grave away
All because of that grave robber
Jesus is the rock and he -
All because of that grave robber

LYRICS:

Staring at a stop sign
Watching people drive by
T Mac on the radio
Got so much on your mind
Nothing’s really going right
Looking for a ray of hope

Whatever it is you may be going through
I know He’s not gonna let it get the best of you

You’re an overcomer
Stay in the fight ‘til the final round
You’re not going under
‘Cause God is holding you right now
You might be down for a moment
Feeling like it’s hopeless
That’s when He reminds You
That you’re an overcomer
You’re an overcomer

Everybody’s been down
Hit the bottom, hit the ground
Oh, you’re not alone
Just take a breath, don’t forget
Hang on to His promises
He wants You to know

The same Man, the Great I am
The One who overcame death
Is living inside of You
So just hold tight, fix your eyes
On the One who holds your life
There’s nothing He can’t do
He’s telling you

Delegates cast their ceremonial votes for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for president at the party’s national convention in Chicago on Tuesday. As DJ Cassidy spun records for every state and U.S. territory, delegates spoke about why they were there, what is special about their homes and why they were supporting Harris. Rapper Lil Jon, actors Wendell Pierce and Sean Astin, and a number of leading Democratic lawmakers made appearances.

Minnesota and California, home states of Harris and Gov. Tim Walz, were the last to cast their votes.

Tuesday’s roll call was a repeat of an online event in early August, when Harris became the official nominee. The DNC called the ceremonial vote a “celebratory roll call.”

Later in the week, Harris and Walz will formally accept their nominations as the party’s candidates.

Lyrics:
sometimes when i step into the ring
i feel i’m just a sheep but right now i’m a wolf
i’m headed to the top never stop
on another level baby give me one last look
cuz I been
I been stuck in circles in my mind
the circles i might live and die in
cuz I been
I been waiting silent for a sign
and all this time i’m realizing

i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i see nothing but green lights
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i see nothing but green lights

when I’m down to zero
faith has gone way low
tap into that god mode
and let all the fear go
I walk like a pharaoh
I run with the werewolves
I fly like a sparrow
up with the angels
and I might be running outa running outa time
gotta level up my body and my mind
when I’m past the point of done I come alive

i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i see nothing but green lights
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i’m ready i’m ready i’m rah
i see nothing but green lights

Stream/download at https://lnk.to/skinbones

They say that everything is black and white
You’re in the wrong or you do what’s right
But nothing’s fair
No one fucking cares
All I ever learned was tragedy

Life is gonna leave you quicker than you know
Slip right through your hands when you think you’ve got the rope
I’ve seen it
We’re all, we’re all
We’re all just skin
We’re all just skin and bones

The Ides of March, just another sign
We made amends, but never said goodbye
And now you’re gone
Everything is lost
All I ever learned is

"Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why."

So as I surround myself with memories
And as I re-read this tattered book
I won’t weep when I get to the end
I’ll turn to the first page and read it again

These are the passages that made us
who we are
who we were
These are the episodes that showed us
who we are
who we were

“Skin & Bones’ is a deeply emotional song, written about the sudden loss of a person who was once very close to me. Everyday we’re stuck in our own heads worrying about trivial things and never thinking about just how fragile we are. Life can be gone in an instant. I lost one of the greatest people I ever knew.

Recording out in Joshua Tree, in the middle of the desert, made it feel like we were starting with a totally blank canvas. Without external distractions, I found myself turning my attention inward. How did I really feel? What did I really want to say about it? And once I found that, the performance just poured out of me. Talking, singing, yelling, screaming…it’s all raw emotion in this track.”

- Shane Told
