Elli Acula’s meteoric ascent is unstoppable, just like her power behind the decks to fuse groovy, powerful sounds ranging from Techno, Rave, Breakbeat, Electro and Jungle. Her electric energy has already thrilled dancers at Europe’s top venues like Berghain, Printworks, Fabric and Robert Johnson, as well as dance floors in South America and Australia. However, playing late night/early morning extended vinyl sets at Berlin haunts like OHM or ://aboutblank was where she cut her teeth.

Having been a founding member of the label Spandau20 and one of its creative directors, it was her first release on the label that set her up for what came next. “To The Peak”, the record she made with FJAAK & Ostgut Ton’s Steffi, hits just as hard as one of Elli Acula’s lauded DJ sets and was immediately picked up and supported by Techno & Electro’s greatest.

The legendary rapper and activist Killer Mike (Michael) shares his unique perspective on life, love, and fatherhood. Mike discusses his commitment to his music career, the role of parenthood and business in his life, and his unwavering dedication to his community. He talks about his experiences growing up and his family's history, touching upon the complexities of his mother's life. Through stories full of laughter and tears, he recalls the profound impact of his grandmother and mother's deaths and the influence of their words and examples. He shares his philosophy on relationships and parenthood, advising that 'nothing is impossible', and one must prioritize self-care.

Being Mötley Crüe, they did, of course, go out in style with a spectacular light show and stage set, pyrotechnics, Tommy Lee s incredible rollercoaster drum solo and a set list packed with Mötley Crüe classics. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley and focuses on the period following a failed assassination attempt made on the singer in 1976. It didn’t matter if you had your dial set to either a pop or hip-hop station in the 2000s, Lloyd Banks was coming through your speakers regardless. Whether it was with G-Unit or flying solo, the New York rhymer could ride the airwaves with your DMXes and your Britney Spearses. Bolstered by a voice that sounded like a swig of Malbec, Banks became one of hip-hop’s go-to collaborators in the 2000s because his flow seared a cool sizzle to every track he touched. “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley” with Juelz Santana boasted riches with fun alliterative detail. On “Loyal to the Game” he enhanced post-humous Pac bars. To be sure, LB stands on his own. Relisten to “On Fire.” It goes punch for punch with similar club bangers like Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” and frequent track-mate 50 Cent’s “In Da Club.” With his new album, ‘The Course Of The Inevitable 3: Pieces of My Pain,’ the hip-hop OG wants to remind people of just that. "As crazy as it sounds, it's 20 years in, you gotta remind people sometimes," he recently asserted. To back it up, he slid down to our Brooklyn ctrl stage to perform album cut ‘Movie Scenes.’ Being a man of the people, he also dug up a fan favorite. “Survival” is from ’06’s ‘Rotten Apple,’ and don’t be surprised if you find yourself spinning that record for the rest of the day.
