LYRICS:
Well you done done me in; you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
Now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my bestest
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find
Love, love, love, love

Listen to the music of the moment, people dance and sing
We're just one big family
And it's our God-forsaken right to be
Loved, love, love, love, loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Do you want to come on scootch on over closer, dear
And I will nibble your ear

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait – I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me (I won't hesitate)
Open up your plans and damn you're free (No more, no more)
Look into your heart and you'll find (It cannot wait)
The sky is yours (I'm sure)
So please don't, please don't, please don't (No need to complicate)
There's no need to complicate (Our time is short)
'Cause our time is short (This is)
This oh, this oh, this is our fate (our fate)
I'm yours

Letra: 👇🏻

De lado a lado adivinen quien ha llegado

ICC ICC ICC

“BMF” continues the storyline of the inspiring true legends of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who fostered one of the most influential crime families in the country known as, Black Mafia Family. We parachute into the early 90s in Season 3 with Meech moving to Atlanta, where he hopes to build upon the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry fostered in Detroit and rise to the top of the Atlanta drug scene. At the same time, Terry remains in the “D” to handle business. Charles Flenory (Russell Hornsby) and Lucille Flenory’s (Michole Briana White) marriage remains on the rocks, and Detective Bryant (Steve Harris) and Detective Jin (Kelly Hu) return as partners often on opposite sides of the law who find common ground in their determination to take down BMF. Additionally, season 3 includes special guest stars recurring throughout the season who cross paths with Meech and Terry in this next phase of their journey.

Patrick Bet-David, Tom Ellsworth, and Vincent Oshana are joined by economic and Harvard University professor Roland Fryer as they discuss the history of gangster rap and whether it's a CIA psyop.

Lyrics:
We’re back on the streets, we’re taking the night
Turn up the heat, playin’ with fire
It never stops, it never ends
Play for keeps, take it to the wire

Hittin’ the gas, rippin’ some skids
Stalkin’ the streets, stickin’ it to the man
Midnight riders, born in fire
Twistin’ turnin’, ragin’ across the land
Marchin’ fury, we’re judge and jury
Vagabond souls, nowhere left to hide
Blackstar raiders, dawn crusaders
Knife in your back, comin’ round the bend

Back on the streets, takin’ the night
Turn up the heat, playin’ with fire
It never stops, it never ends
Play for keeps, take it to the wire

Sharpen the blades, takin’ a chance
Rollin’ the dice, flames gettin’ higher
Walkin’ the line, nitro dancin’
No!
We won’t stop for nothin’ now

Cracklin’ thunder, burnin’ rubber
Whirlwind power, leavin’ you for dead
Concrete brawlers, renegade stalkers
Twilight killers, prowlin’ the streets again

Blackstar raiders, dawn crusaders
Knife in your back, here we come again
Back on the streets, takin’ the night
Turn up the heat, playin’ with fire
It never stops, it never ends
Play for keeps, take it to the wire

Sharpen the blades, takin’ a chance
Rollin’ the dice, flames gettin’ higher
Walkin’ the line, nitro dancin’
No!
We won’t stop for nothin’ now

Turn up the heat, takin’ the night
Rollin’ the dice, walkin’ the wire
It never stops, it never ends
Play for keeps, we’re nitro power

Turn up the heat, takin’ the night
Walkin’ the line, playin’ with fire
It never stops, it never ends
Play for keeps, flames gettin’ higher
So, turn up the heat!

Shenseea - Hit & Run. An exclusive live performance for Vevo.

Dancehall culture is as much about personality as it is about musical talent, and Shenseea has both in spades. The Jamaica native can certainly hit the notes, but she’s just as impressive leading crowds with toasts, boasts and more than a little brashness. Maxed-out confidence is right there in the name of last year’s debut: ‘ALPHA,’ an album throughout which the “Diana” singer puts her own desires first. “I’m the one you want/I’m the one you need,” she proclaims on the Tyga-assisted album opener “Target.” Two tracks later she’s going full sexual self-empowerment on “Deserve It,” a pop-leaning bop with a breathy hook a la TLC and Destiny’s Child. That features include both Caribbean staples such as Beanie Man and Sean Paul alongside hip-hop luminaries 21 Savage and Megan Thee Stallion tells you she’s aiming for full crossover cred. “Waistline” and “Hit & Run” certainly do the job, and the only thing these two exclusive performances are missing is a sweaty crowd dancing alongside her. Advice: Do some toe touches before heeding Shen’s commands.

The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official YouTube home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

Amazon: http://amzn.to/2BBYj85

Barnes & Noble: https://tinyurl.com/y9qocn5u

From an independent bookstore near you: https://tinyurl.com/ycetl9sg

Here's what some icons have to say about the book!!!

Ice-T: "Respect to Soren Baker for documenting the history of gangster rap in these pages. Some hate it. Some love it. But you can’t deny its brutal, hardcore honesty."

The D.O.C.: "History has so often been written by the victors, that you very rarely ever get the real story behind anything. So it’s really important to hear from the people that were there, which is exactly what Soren Baker shares in this book. He writes about it and he’s honest about it."

Xzibit: "Hip-hop changed the world. Gangster rap changed the narrative, and then changed the world again. Soren Baker has been a very integral part of documenting hip-hop on the West Coast for as long as I can remember. I don’t think anybody is more qualified to write this book."

Leslie “Big Lez” Segar: "Soren Baker has changed the perspective of gangster rap by putting his pen to paper. He has given hip-hop power, proven its potential, and made non-believers contemplate all of its possibilities. The truth in his writing leaves no stone unturned, something he's done again with The History of Gangster Rap. Soren doesn’t just champion hip-hop. He also reveals its flaws and its truths."

Lyrics:
[Chorus]
When your wrist like this, you don't check the forecast
Every day it's gon' rain, yeah
Made a brick through a brick, ain't whip up shit
This pure cocaine, yeah
From the streets, but I got a little sense
But I had to go coupe, no brain (Coupe, no brain)
Ain't worried 'bout you, I'ma do what I do
And I do my thing (Do my thing)

[Verse 1]
Bought her brand new shoes, told her kick rocks
Don't stand too close, diamonds kickbox
Think red means go so I don't stop
I know they wish they could catch me, but keep wishin'
You think I done turned into a fiend for these bitches
Tryna stuff as much as I can in these britches
Made your bitch fuck on my friend, it's no difference
I ain't never popped no Xan, I sip sizzurp
If I ever have to tell on the gang, I won't do it
If I put it on a song, I seen it or been through it
I can't put it in my song, I know how the feds move
Scream free all of the ahks but I ain't no FamGoon
Gave my mama ten bands, sent her to Cancún
Got the crowd goin' dumb but I ain't no damn fool
If I went in there and did it and made it, you can too
We done came a long way from broke and sharing shoes

When your wrist like this, you don't check the forecast
Every day it's gon' rain, yeah
Made a brick through a brick, ain't whip up shit
This pure cocaine, yeah
From the streets, but I got a little sense
But I had to go coupe, no brain (Coupe, no brain)
Ain't worried 'bout you, I'ma do what I do
And I do my thing (Do my thing)

[Verse 2]
Got a quarter million dollars in a book bag
New Era, I'm a dope boy, no cap
I'm living my best life for real
Just left the dealership, no tag
If we opposite, it won't work, it won't last
Get an opposite knocked off, toe tag
Ain't been home in a month, got my ho mad
They need me in the trap but I can't go back
I jumped off the porch with a hundred dollar slab
I got M's in the bank, give a damn what they think
Every vibe I ever shot my shot at, caught it
Everything you ever seen me riding in, bought it
Big dawg status, I ain't gotta sell drugs
Put my craft into rap then I took off, yeah
New G-Wagon, no key, this a push-start
I can hit the gas, make it disappear

When your wrist like this, you don't check the forecast
Every day it's gon' rain, yeah
Made a brick through a brick, ain't whip up shit
This pure cocaine, yeah
From the streets, but I got a little sense
But I had to go coupe, no brain (Coupe, no brain)

Lyrics:
Is this the way it's really going down?
Is this how we say goodbye?
Should've known better when you came around
That you were gonna make me cry
It's breakin' my heart to watch you run around
'Cause I know that you're livin' a lie
But that's okay, baby, 'cause in time, you will find

Lyrics:

I wish I could tell you
Wish I could describe it
But I can't contain it
Can't keep it to myself

There aren't enough colors
To paint the whole picture
Not enough words
To ever say what I found

Wonderful and beautiful
And glorious and holy
He is merciful and powerful
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

We declare the glory
Give Him all the honor
Altogether worthy
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
There's no one before You
Yes, we will adore You
All of this is for You
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

I'm not letting the rocks cry
Without joining the chorus
There aren't enough notes
To make the harmony

It's the song of the angels (angels)
Through all of the ages (ages)
It's all of the earth
And heaven's symphony

Wonderful and beautiful
And glorious and holy
He is merciful and powerful
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

We declare the glory
Give Him all the honor
Altogether worthy
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
There's no one before You
Yes, we will adore You
All of this is for You
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
That’s my King
Is He your King tonight

That's my King
That's my God
That's my Shepherd
My protector
That's my King
That's my Rock
That's my Anchor
My Defender

That's my King
That's my God
That's my Shepherd
My protector
That's my King
That's my Rock
That's my Anchor
My Defender

Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

We declare the glory
Give Him all the honor
Altogether worthy
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
We declare the glory
Give Him all the honor
Altogether worthy
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

There's no one before You
Yes, we will adore You
All of this is for You
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King

Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
(King of Kings)
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
(King forever)
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Who we talkin' about?
That's my King
Yeah yeah yeah
