Lyrics:
(SpeakerBangerz)

Ayy, first off, I don't respect no rats
I ain't never dropped a dime, not even when I got those racks
Look, I was raisin' hell before the Hellcat
Yeah, I can put you on, run and tell that
Look, I'll pop a nigga like a wheelie, huh
I crack me a seal, pour out my feelings, uh
Starin' at the stars in the ceiling, uh
How I'm starin' at my heart while it's healin'? Look
It's hard for me to find some inspiration
I pray for this generation, I need me a vacation
I'm tryna clear my thoughts, no one to call on late night
Wanna know my whereabouts? I'm with the stars now, late night
Lord, pray for me, we just a product of our environment
We just some young niggas strugglin' who got tired of it
From where them crackers quick to hang you like an ornament
I'm just thankful that we made it out
Chauncey goin' up the only way we ball
Can't complain at all, bitch, we made it far, huh
Just bought my nigga a phone, I hate when he can't make that call, huh
Come to you with my hand out? See, that ain't me at all
I don't give no damn 'bout what you did
We came up from hustlin', kickin' doors, I don't know what you did
I'm a real hustler, I was rich when I got two kids
Then I had two more kids, bring that shit to your crib
Look, racked in '19, 2020 I'm goin' too big
Thug life like Pac, but I got hoes like I'm Big
Look, R.I.P. B-I-G, my new AP a B-I-G
Wrecked the Benz tryna check the time, too many VV's (Look)
Put some ice on her if she mine, let's go skiing (Yeah)
Put a dime on him, he won't make it 'til this weekend
Playin' all defense, some shit I can't prevent
In a game full of weirdos, it be hard for me to fit in
I kicked the door down, they act like I ain't leave it open
I'm 'bout to cop that new 'Bach and I still got the old one
Don't get your ass whacked, we clap shit, Magnolia
They was talkin' 'bout my flow, so I went back to the old one (Yeah)
Look, diamonds in my teeth, shit frozen (Yeah)
I like my bitches dark, Kelly Rowland, yeah (Uh, uh, uh)
I would give you my heart, but it's broken, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
I can't even show no emotions (Yeah, yeah), look
Starin' from afar at the ocean, before I got some motion
Before we ever bust a check, man, we was on some more shit
Before I ever touched the pen, they told me I was chosen
Before the fame, these bitches called me daddy, I know, look
I know Just and Liberty gon' be there, huh (Yeah)
I know Boonk and Bop and Zelly, they gon' be there, huh
I can't speak on none of them niggas, I can't ID them, yeah
Make me tweak on all these niggas like I'm senile
I can't trust a soul, so I won't be 'round
Held the street down while Shell gone, so I know he proud
He took over the penal, he send it to me now
Don't make me send them youngins to your spot and let 'em freestyle

The Unlikely Career of Pet Shop Boys & "It's a Sin" I New British Canon Hotney 7 Streams • 2 years ago

On paper, Pet Shop Boys are an unlikely pop behemoth. A former pop journalist and an architecture student, their first hit, “West End Girls,” had their thirty-year-old middle-class British frontman embodying Grandmaster Flash. Starting off as what could’ve quite easily remained a one-hit wonder, they defined British synth pop in the late 1980s, combining the cutting edge of dance music with their intelligent self-reflective lyricism. By 1987 they had hit their imperial phase with a song that attacked the Catholic Church with
Hi-NRG bombast and extraneous countdowns. This is New British Canon and this is the story of "It’s a Sin”.

Here's what some icons have to say about the book!!!

Ice-T: "Respect to Soren Baker for documenting the history of gangster rap in these pages. Some hate it. Some love it. But you can’t deny its brutal, hardcore honesty."

The D.O.C.: "History has so often been written by the victors, that you very rarely ever get the real story behind anything. So it’s really important to hear from the people that were there, which is exactly what Soren Baker shares in this book. He writes about it and he’s honest about it."

Xzibit: "Hip-hop changed the world. Gangster rap changed the narrative, and then changed the world again. Soren Baker has been a very integral part of documenting hip-hop on the West Coast for as long as I can remember. I don’t think anybody is more qualified to write this book."

Leslie “Big Lez” Segar: "Soren Baker has changed the perspective of gangster rap by putting his pen to paper. He has given hip-hop power, proven its potential, and made non-believers contemplate all of its possibilities. The truth in his writing leaves no stone unturned, something he's done again with The History of Gangster Rap. Soren doesn’t just champion hip-hop. He also reveals its flaws and its truths."

JT Money delivers a powerful and introspective track with "Real Nigga Story," produced by Wassup D Wil. This track moves at a deliberate 84 BPM, blending Rap/HipHop, Dirty South, and Southern Rap to create a raw narrative of JT Money's journey and legacy. The video, directed by BenjiMadeIt, was recently released and filmed in an undisclosed recording studio in Miami, FL, adding an authentic touch to the storytelling.

The hook sets the stage for a deep dive into JT Money's life and career: "Yeah this a real nigga story, Wasn’t at it for the glory, But they ain’t do it like this before me." It's a declaration of authenticity and resilience, highlighting his battles and triumphs. The track's energy is reflective yet assertive, making it a compelling listen from start to finish.

JT Money's verses are a testament to his impact and influence. "Yo I’m from My-Ami Not They-Ami, I did it for the hood, Not for they Grammy," he raps, emphasizing his roots and dedication to representing his community. His storytelling is vivid and honest, painting a picture of a life lived with integrity and grit. He reflects on his journey from the early '90s to now, reminding listeners of his enduring presence in the rap game.

The second verse delves deeper into his influence on the Miami rap scene: "I changed the mind state, Of niggas in my state, I let em know out the gate, Wasn’t just bout that booty shake." JT Money's impact goes beyond the music; he's shaped a culture and inspired a generation. He speaks on his under-the-radar success and the respect he's earned despite the challenges. "I’ve been sliding under the radar, Getting money for years, Cause they fear a real nigga, But it is what it is," he declares, reinforcing his resilience and commitment to staying true to himself.

"Real Nigga Story" is part of JT Money's album "Immortal," a project that solidifies his legacy in the rap industry. The track's production by Wassup D Wil is a perfect backdrop, combining a steady beat with soulful melodies that complement JT Money's reflective lyrics. The music video, directed by BenjiMadeIt, adds a visual layer to the narrative, capturing the essence of JT Money's journey in a raw and authentic way.
