Nas and Prodigy shared a complex relationship marked by numerous ups and downs over the years. While Havoc often sided with Prodigy, the tensions primarily stemmed from issues between Nas and Prodigy themselves, often fueled by conflicts between their respective crews. In this video, we take an in-depth look at their relationship, exploring the nuances and dynamics that have rarely been examined in such detail on YouTube.

1973 and 1974 saw the Jackson 5 truly go global with the brothers touring Japan, West Africa, Australia and South America, as well as them embarking on a successful run of performances in Las Vegas.
The schedule was now becoming predictable for the group, recording was followed by constant promoting and that followed by back-to-back concerts and so and so on. At the end of 1974, the Jackson 5 was allowed their first month break since they hit the big time 5 years before, but could it go on much longer?

[Chorus: Pitbull]
It feels good to see
The world getting loose (Mr. Worldwide)
Feels good to see
The world getting loose (Let's ride)
I don't know about you (Sak Noel)
I don't know about you (Phenom)
I don't know about you (White Shadow)
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
[Verse 1: Pitbull]
I'm two plus two, I'm fo' sho
You down, I'm down, baby let's go
You stop, you drop, baby, then roll
You twerk, you pop, booty so swole
I'd hate me too if I were you
And when it comes to billions, I'll take two
It's only one life, you don't get two
So live life, don't let it live you
[Verse 2: Anthony Watts]
I got a pocket full of hundred dollar bills
Put on a jacket 'cause these diamonds give you chills
Two shots, I'm running
Two and I'm stunning tonight, tonight (Yeah)
Look in the mirror, I'm like who the hell is hе?
So many whips and cribs, I'm losing track of keys
Ooh, up to something
Ooh yeah, I lovе it alright, alright
[Pre-Chorus: Pitbull]
Yeah-yeah, I'm drinking out the bottle (Get loose)
Hanging with supermodels (Get loose)
Feel like I've hit the lotto
[Chorus: Pitbull]
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
I don't know about you, but I feel good
[Verse 3: Pitbull]
I'm one plus one, I'm too strong
If you ain't about money then get gone
I wanna wild out all night long
You wanna ride out, then get on
I'd hate me too if I were you
And when it comes to billions, I'll take two
It's only one life, you don't get two
So live life, don't let it live you

#soundgarden #pearljam #templeofthedog #grunge
I cite my sources and they may differ than other people's accounts, so I don't guarantee the actual accuracy of my videos.
Still a staple of rock radio to this very day, the Seattle supergroup Temple of the Dog would release their only album in April of 1991 that was self titled. What may surprise people is that the album wasn’t a big hit initially and it stirred up controversy and bad feelings afterwards. That’s what we’re going to discuss in today’s video.
Temple of the Dog would get their start almost a year before their record came out in March of 1990 when frontman Andrew Wood of the up and coming seattle rock band mother love bone would pass away due to a drug overdose. Former soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell was friends with Wood and even lived with him for a period of time. According to Gruntruck Drummer Scott Mccullum who talked to cornell around this
time he would reveal in the mark yarm book everybody loves our town. “I remember chris
being really pissed at Andy shortly after he died. I was really surprised by that. He
was really mad and upset that he had done what he did. He was really hurt.”
Cornell who was on the road with Soundgarden at the time would immediately pen two tracks about Wood titled ‘Reach Down’ and ‘Say Hello 2 Heaven’ that would eventually make their way onto the temple of the dog album. Upon writing the songs Cornell would provide demos of the tracks to Wood's girlfriend. Eventually Wood's former bandmates in mother love bone and future pearl jam guitarist Stone Gossard and bassist Jeff Ament would hear the tracks and be blown away. They would end up pushing Cornell to release the material. Cornell would recall “My initial thought was I could record them with the ex-members of mother love bone as a tribute single to andy. I got a phone call from jeff saying he thought the songs were amazing and let’s make a whole record. The record would be made up of material Cornell wrote and recorded and material the members of mother love bone recorded before and after Wood’s death.
It was during the rehearsals that Cornell came up with the song hunger strike that he thought was a filler song to round out the album to ten songs. Also present during the rehearsals was singer Eddie Vedder who had just flew in from California to audition with Wood’s former bandmates in a new group they put together called Mookie Blaylock that would eventually rename themselves Pearl Jam.
Cornell would remember “Eddie was sitting there kind of waiting for a mookie blaylock
rehearsal and i was singing parts and he kind of humbly but with some balls walked up to
the mic and started singing the low parts for me because he saw it was kind of hard.
We got through a couple of choruses of him doing that and suddenly the lightbulb came
on in my head. This guys voice is amazing for these low parts. History wrote itself
after that , and that became the first single.” And Vedder would appear on the other tracks "Pushin Forward Back," "Your Savior" and "Four Walled World.
Also contributing to the record would be future pearl jam guitarist mike mcreedy and soundgarden drummer matt cameron. And while the album was meant to be a tribute to Andy wood it did create some bad blood as soundgarden guitarist kim thile (prnounced like tile, but with h) would tell author mark yarm “the initial purpose of temple of the dog to be a tribute to andy wood, was not the concluding purpose. I think to be a tribute to Andy wood there were a lot of people who were close to andy like his brothers who probably should’ve been involved .It became something else, it became a Chris Cornell solo record with some of his friends.” he’d conclude. Andy’s brother kevin wood would express some anger over not being included telling the same author “I fully expected to be included in that project although they never called me. I was pretty pissed off at the time i didn’t get to play on that or even considered to be asked”.
The band would record the record at Seattle’s london bridge studios with renowned producer rick parashar who in the near future would work with both Pearl Jam and alice in chains. Parashar and Cornell would

“Kill For You” Lyrics:
I like the way you touch my face
I like the way your fingers taste
In my mouth
And in my heart
I like the way you shift your gaze
Pull me back when I run away
And I guess you were always right
I'd love you until the day I die
So go easy on me
I still love you baby
I’d still kill for you
I would kill for you
Tell me what do you need
Tell me who I should be
Who I’ll kill for you
I would kill for you
Oo
I like the way you curse my name
Never knowing what each day will bring I guess that you were right
And pardon my mistake
I'll never be the one that got away
So go easy on me
You're still all that I see
I would kill for you
I would kill for you
Tell me what do you need
Tell me who I should be
Who I’ll kill for you
I will kill for you
Oo
So go easy on me
You’re still all that I need
I would kill for you
I would kill for you
So go easy on me
You’re still all that I need
I would kill for you
I would kill for you
Oo

"You Better Go" Is A Heartfelt Track That Dives Deep Into The Complexities Of Love And Relationships. Harmonize Delivers An Emotionally Charged Performance, Blending Modern Afropop With Traditional Rhumba Rhythms. The Song Explores The Tension And Frustration Of A Relationship Plagued By Mistrust And Misunderstanding. The Lyrics Capture The Pain Of Feeling Unappreciated, With Lines Like "Always On My Phone, Looking To See Who’s Texting Me, Strangely, You Don’t See Anybody," Expressing The Anxiety Of Constant Surveillance.
Harmonize Touches On The Emotional Toll Of Such A Relationship, Where Love Has Turned Into A Burden, Symbolized By The Phrase "My Love Has Turned It To A Stick, This Is Love, Not Lust." The Chorus, "You Better Go, I'll Let You Go," Is A Powerful Declaration Of Self-Worth, Signaling The End Of A Toxic Love Story. The Track Is Both A Plea For Peace And A Declaration Of Independence, As The Artist Acknowledges The Need For Closure And The Return To A Simpler, More Peaceful Existence.
The Song's Rhythmic Rhumba Beats Add A Danceable Groove, Contrasting With The Weight Of The Lyrics, Making It A Perfect Track For Those Who Have Experienced The Highs And Lows Of Love. Harmonize's Smooth Vocals And The Infectious Melody Make "You Better Go" A Standout Track That Resonates With Anyone Who Has Struggled With Love, Trust, And The Need To Let Go.

The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

Weezer were a revelation for 90s alternative rock. Heavy metal and comic books were how Rivers Cuomo was raised. Kiss and the X-Men were the Gods that he praised. And while Kurt Cobain also loved 70s Arena Rock and Marvel Comics, he never admitted to it in song. Devo and They Might Be Giants had set the groundwork, but Weezer proved definitively that nerds could indeed rock. As well as saving the hair metal guitar solo from obsolescence, on the band’s first album Cuomo wove tales of unravelling mental health, absent fathers and romances never attempted, told through the lens of personal minutiae and pop cultural obsession. Intimate and arena rock in equal measures, this is the story of how Weezer made The Blue Album.

Tears For Fears didn’t quite fit in. Not style conscious enough to be New Romantic but too Smash Hits to be the next Joy Division. Not quite a synth-pop band, more a pop band that used synthesisers. Before U2 took over, Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith were briefly the biggest band in the world, claiming two US Billboard number ones with a shuddering sonic maelstrom questioning authority and a slice of Cold War paranoia with the vibe of “The Boys of Summer”. But before that they were the po-faced therapy boys, drowning their sorrow and dancing to the sound of their own childhood trauma. This is New British Canon, and this is the story of “Mad World”.

A brand new version of Woodstock 1969. Remade, re-edited and remastered in 4K. This new version is superior to the old in every way. To start with, I used the audio from the Woodstock 50th Anniversary Edition CD release which has been remastered by Prof. Stoned. It's a lot better sounding than the old version. On the old edit, I stretched the audio around to fit the footage which would do the job of syncing the audio, but would hurt the overall quality. This time around, I have left the audio untouched to remain at the correct speed for the whole show while still keeping the quality. For the black and white footage, I have used AI upscaling and frame interpolation to greatly improve the quality and bring the footage up to a smooth 60fps. I think it looks way better.
For the various proshots, I've ripped the Blu-ray versions whenever available rather than the DVD's for a huge upgrade in quality. The DVD versions not only ran at the wrong speed making the songs too fast, but also suffered from a ghosting effect because the footage was being played back at 29.97fps instead of the intended 23.97fps. Now with the Blu-ray versions, I can let the footage play at the correct speed and in its original frame rate of 23.97fps. The only footage from a DVD source is the extra footage used on My Generation because that particular version was only ever released on the "Woodstock Diaries" DVD in 2002. Everything else is from the Blu-ray releases of "The Kids Are Alright" and "Woodstock" the film and bonus features.
Like last time, I've added in a countdown timer whenever there wasn't any footage available. Since the camera mixing on every version of Woodstock isn't that good (incorrect shot and cameras being out of sync) I had to cut up every single camera shot individually on all the different versions and one by one correctly resyncing them all to the new remastered audio. The only song with no footage is Shakin' All Over. For the black and white footage, it would play back at various speeds throughout making it quite a challenge to get it all synced up properly but I think it's pretty much spot on now.
I have fixed the beginning of Heaven & Hell which now includes more footage of the intro than the old edit. I added in a new bit of footage on Sparks at (15:10) of Roger banging his tambourines together which wasn't in the original edit. Removed a section of incorrect John footage which is now in the correct place at (29:51) on the left side. On We're Not Gonna Take It, the first bit of footage was in the wrong spot, I found the correct section just a little bit later at (41:36) and put it side by side with the other cam. See Me Feel Me has quite a few differences in the overall edit of the cameras. This new edit is a little more cleaned up with a few extra bits of footage added in and one incorrect shot removed that I replaced with another angle. My Generation has a couple very small extra shots added in and for Pete's solo at the end of the show, I opted for just 2 cameras this time instead of the 3 on the old edit. Now its only the footage from the Blu-ray for a more cohesive edit.
There are two main things missing from this video. The proshot footage of Summertime Blues from the "Woodstock" Movie and the black and white footage of Sparks, Pinball Wizard and See Me Feel Me. For Summertime Blues, YouTube just simply won't let me upload this video with it included. It gets blocked every time. However YouTube doesn't seem to care when it's used in its own separate video. So I actually made a re-edit of Summertime Blues, removing the incorrect shots and syncing it all up better with the remastered audio. You can watch that here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oS9e-pEUO6c
As for the extra black and white footage I couldn't include because of the proshot footage used in its place, I've uploaded that as it's own separate video also. One of the best things about this footage is you can actually see Pete kick the director of the Woodstock film, Michael Wadleigh off the stage as he was filming a little too close for Pete's liking during Sparks. It happens at (18:14) on this video, but the cameras don't really catch much of it. I used AI upscaling and frame interpolated on this too for the best quality. You can watch that here:

This song talks about the power of staying calm within ourselves in the midst of all the chaos within and around us.
It is a reminder for us that no matter how anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed we are feeling, there's always this steady force within us that can help us find our inner peace in any moment.
Lyrics:
My mind is a desert
In midst of the ocean
Thirsty for water
Yet scared of the ocean
The silence within
As loud as the thunder
Holding my breath
Frozen in motion
When waves are crushing
Inside your mind
Talking of dangerous storms
May your heart remain still
Like a rock in the ocean
Observing energy
In motion

Lul Tim discussed the chaotic moments surrounding the shooting that led to King Von's death, emphasizing his role in protecting Quando Rondo during the altercation. Lul Tim admitted to shooting four times until his gun jammed, attempting to shield his friend amidst escalating violence. Off-duty police officers in the vicinity responded with gunfire, resulting in Lul Tim getting shot twice; once in the hip and another in the lower body. This incident marked the second time Lul Tim had been shot, yet he managed to stay composed, drawing from previous experiences to calmly seek medical attention. The altercation resulted in multiple casualties. Lul Tim reflected on the pandemonium of the night, unaware of King Von's condition during the melee.
