Lyrics:
Baby girl, I said tonight is your lucky night
Peter Andre along wid Bubbla Ranks on de mic

I stop and stare at you
Walking on the shore
I try to concentrate
My mind wants to explore
The tropical scent of you
Pick's me up above
And girl when I look at you
Oh I fall in love

And no doubt you look so fine
And girl I wanna make you mine
I want to be with a woman just like you
And no doubt I'm the only man
Who can love you like I can
So just let me be with the woman that I love

Baby girl, shine like a looking glass!

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
I wanna get close to you
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
Move your body close to mine

Girl you are me heart's desire
And you alone a set me soul on fire
Me tell dem
Girl you are me heart's desire
And you alone - watch dis

Watching the sun go down
The tide is drifting in
We can get closer now
And feel the warmth within
Cause I'm looking in your eyes
Feeling so alive
And girl when you touch me
It's time to take it through the night

Girl I wanna be with you
I wanna spend the night with you
I need to be with the woman that I love
And girl I wanna do to you
All the things you want me to
I need to be with the woman that I love

Baby girl, let your love release!

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
I wanna get close to you
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
Move your body close to mine

Well I've been sitting by the phone hoping you'd call
When time me hear your voice I feel ten feet tall
Body weh you have a make de man dem a bawl
Man a trip over man when time your name call
Your pretty looks surround me like a flowers a bloom
And I love the smell of your Elizabeth Taylor perfume
Your personality alone light up de room
Just one kiss alone a make me heart go boom

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
I wanna get close to you
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Mysterious girl
Move your body close to mine

#thewhitestripes #megwhite #jackwhite

I cite my sources and they may differ than other people's accounts, so I don't guarantee the actual accuracy of my videos.

The Detroit rock band The White Stripes would graduate from being indie darlings to one of the most popular rock bands in the world during the 2000’s. The band’s time would come to an end in 2009 and while they wouldn’t make it official until a few years later, there were warning signs that the band was done. How did the White Stripes get to this point and whatever happened to drummer Meg White? Despite the inactivity from the band, fans of the group can look forward to one thing a few years from now. That’s what we’re going to explore in today’s video.

Prior to the White Stripes forming in 1997 Meg and Jack White would meet several years prior, date and eventually get married. Jack would take Meg’s surname as he was originally born John Anthony Gillis. The pair would meet in 1996 at Meg’s place of work, a Detroit restaurant called Memphis Smoke. Jack was playing in a variety of bands around the city including Two Star Tabernacle, The Hentchmen and Goober and the Peas. It would be one night in 1997 when Jack was working on new music that he asked Meg to play the drums. He would recall to Rolling Stone in 2008 “When she started to play drums with me, just on a lark, it felt liberating and refreshing. There was something in it that opened me up.” And so the White Stripes would be born. While the pair would eventually divorce in 2000 they opted to continue with he band.. The pair initially made it seem to the press that they were brother and sister, but the press would eventually find proof of their marriage and this is a topic I’ve done a whole video on, the link is down below.

The White Stripes would release their self titled debut album in 1999 and their follow up in 2000. They would release their third album White Blood Cells in 2001 and it would prove to be their breakout hit thanks to the songs Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground and Fell in Love WIth a Girl. The band would continue to have major success with three more albums including 200’s Elephant, 2005’s Get Behind Me Satan and their final record 2007’s Icky Thump.

On July 31, 2007 the White Stripes were set to take the stage in Southhaven, Mississippi at the Snoweden Grove Park Amphitheater. Meg White would apparently turn to the band’s archivist and utter the words “I think this is the last White Stripes Show”. The band was out on the road promoting what was their latest and last release of their career Icky Thump, which went to number 2 on the charts. The band had spent the last two months traveling across Europe and North America and their stop in Southaven was to be their last on this leg of the tour before playing dates along the pacific northwest, the California coast, south central states and Hawaii in September and October.

But literally a day before their September tour started, the band announced that their upcoming dates were canceled putting out a statement that read “The White Stripes announced today that they are canceling their forthcoming tour due to health issues. Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time.
The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans.
"We hate to let people down and are very sorry."
A few days later the band also cancelled their 8 date UK tour which was set to take place in october and november of the same year.
Jack White would look back telling music radar that the pace at which the band was touring and their heightened popularity only worsened Meg’s mental health revealing “Meg is a very shy girl, a very quiet and shy person. We were playing two shows a day in Canada, then we'd fly to France and do a TV show there, then we were back in England on tour, and we were just killin' it, man. The train was out of control.”
The band’s camp went quiet in 2008 with Jack White forming the band The Dead Weather and continuing work with the Raconteurs a band that was formed in 2005. Despite the lack of activity from the White Stripes camp in an interview White would do in 2009 he wou

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
You know it ain't no stoppin' all the dogs I'm droppin'
It's Friday night so everything is poppin'
I gots ten to spend on the Hen
So let the games begin
Yakety yak don't talk back or it's on
Callin' up Earl on the car phone
Mack 10 just got out of court
Rollin' through the hood in his super sport bumping Too $hort
Eighteens got the rear view mirrors vibratin'
And deep-dish Daytons
You know how we do it
Ain't nothing to it but the floss
Overcrowding Harrison-Ross
'Cause if you fuck with ours
We leave scars
Out of G-ride cars
Livin' like stars
Might hit the highway
On the Vegas run fool 'cause it's Friday

[Hook]
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care

[Verse 2]
Standing outside on a Friday living on the edge
'Cause we all got them hard heads
It's seems like we all are waitin'
For a drive-by playing tag with Satan
But we chillin', yeah, we ready and willin'
Ya hear about the latest westside killing?
Forty sippin', set trippin', fo' dippin'
Pistol grippin', neva slippin'
BGs trying to hang out
But OGs sayin' "Take your little ass in the house"
My big homie just got out
Used to be down, now he's just cracked out
He's bout hard as Darth Vader
In his sweatshirt, khakis and Chuck Taylor's
Just seen him in the driveway
Getting beat like a smoker a fool, 'cause it's Friday

[Hook]
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care
Fool

[Verse 3]
Why must I be like that and chase the cat?
Or settle for a hoodrat
Dookie braids no dreadlocks
Flyin' in and out of town with half a chicken in her cock
And I love her, 'cause she down
To fuck around with the underground pussy hound
And her ass is big round and wide
Jacked up, make a nigga down to ride
Smoking indo, playing that Super Nintendo
Hear a rat-a-Tat-Tat on my window
Gave her ass that pelvic thrust
Don't trust the rubber 'cause its bound to bust
In the oven, in the nappy
I had on two so I was happy
'Cause that HIV'll make your dick hang sideways
And that ain't cool, fool, 'cause it's Friday

[Hook]
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care
Oh yeah
Throw your neighborhood in the air
If you don't care

[Outro]
Throw the West side in the air
Throw the East side in the air
Throw the South side in the air
Throw the North side in the air
Oh yeah!

Lyrics:
I took an arrow to the heart
I never kissed a mouth that tastes like yours
Strawberries and then something more
Oh yeah I want it all
Lipstick on my guitar
Fill up the engine we can drive real far
Go dancing underneath the stars
Oh yeah I want it all

You got me feeling like

I wanna be that guy
I wanna kiss your eyes
I wanna drink that smile
I wanna feel like I
Like my souls on fire
I wanna stay up all day and all night
Yeah you got me feeling like

Ooh, I love it when you do it like that
And when you’re close up
Give me the shivers
Oh baby you wanna dance ‘til the sunlight cracks
And when they say the party’s over then we’ll bring it right back
And we’ll say
Ooh, I love it when you do it like that
And when you’re close up
Give me the shivers
Oh baby you wanna dance ‘til the sunlight cracks
And when they say the party’s over then we’ll bring it right back
Into the car
On the backseat in the moonlit dark
Wrap me up between your legs and arms
Oh I can’t get enough
You know you could tear me apart
Put me back together and break my heart
I never thought that I could love this hard
Oh I can’t get enough

You got me feeling like

I wanna be that guy
I wanna kiss your eyes
I wanna drink that smile
I wanna feel like I
Like my souls on fire
I wanna stay up all day and all night
Yeah you got me feeling like

Ooh, I love it when you do it like that
And when you’re close up
Give me the shivers
Oh baby you wanna dance ‘til the sunlight cracks
And when they say the party’s over then we’ll bring it right back
And we’ll say ooh, I love it when you do it like that
And when you’re close up
Give me the shivers
Oh baby you wanna dance ‘til the sunlight cracks
And when they say the party’s over then we’ll bring it right back

Baby you burn so hot
You make me shiver with the fire you got
This thing we started I don’t want it to stop, you know you make me shiver
Yeah you got me singing like

Ooh, I love it when you do it like that
And when you’re close up
Give me the shivers
Oh baby you wanna dance ‘til the sunlight cracks
And when they say the party’s over then we’ll bring it right back
