Lord Of The Lost will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool with the song Blood & Glitter.

Thanks to participating broadcasters ARD and NDR: @esc

~~~~~ Lyrics provided by NDR ~~~~~
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
What we are is but a choice
A promise to ourselves
We are free to break and change
Never forget? Let it go
This or that? No need to know
Whether above or below
We are all from the same blood
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
Blood and glitter
Saint and sinner
We do fall before we rise
Now go, go
Let your blood flow, flow
With broken wings we’ll learn to fly
We are blood and glitter
Keep your head up in the clouds
With two feet on the ground
Life’s too fast so make it count
Never forget? Let it go
This or that? No need to know
Whether above or below
We are all from the same blood
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
Blood and glitter
Saint and sinner
We do fall before we rise
Now go, go
Let your blood flow, flow
With broken wings we’ll learn to fly
We are blood and glitter
Oh, oh
Let your blood flow
Blood and glitter
Oh, oh
Let your blood flow
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
Blood and glitter
Sweet and bitter
We’re so happy we could die
Blood and glitter
Saint and sinner
We do fall before we rise
Now go, go
Let your blood flow, flow
With broken wings we’ll learn to fly
We are blood and glitter
Lyrics:
We chase the sun
And the fire in our souls
It’s in our blood
The stories we´ve been told
We hunt for glory
To save our burning flame
Some live forever
And some fall along the way
So don’t you cry when the sky comes down
Save your tears when a hero drowns
They will stay alive
Through the stories in your mind
And don’t you cry when a star falls down
Save your tears when I`m not around
Oh my child
Legends never die
We´re burn to run
We live and die as one
No storm will break us
Even if we´re dead and gone
Amidst decay
Our memories remain
Stories of warriors
Who died to save our name
So don’t you cry when the sky comes down
Save your tears when a hero drowns
They will stay alive
Through the stories in your mind
And don’t you cry when a star falls down
Save your tears when I`m not around
Oh my child
Legends never die
We chase the sun
To keep the death at bay
Some live forever
And some fall along the way
So don’t you cry when the sky comes down
Save your tears when a hero drowns
They will stay alive
Through the stories in your mind
And don’t you cry when a star falls down
Save your tears when I`m not around
Oh my child
Legends never die
Legends never die
Legends never die
Ich leb alleine schon viele Jahre
Das Leben stumpf, der Alltag grau
Verlier Geduld, Verstand und Haare
Ich hätte gerne eine Frau
Und die Hoffnung will mir schwinden
Eine Partnerin zu finden
Die mir ebenbürtig ist
Nein, da ist kein Glück in Sicht
Sie muss nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Nein
Sie muss nicht reich sein
Kein Model mit langen Schritten
Doch dicken Titten
Wie eine stetig offene Wunde
Aus der Seele tropft das Blut
Einzig Trost sind kleine Hunde
Ein feines Fräulein wäre gut
Ein feines Fräulein wäre toll
Ich bin auch gar nicht anspruchsvoll
Ich bin auch gar nicht wählerisch
Am Ende der Geschicht
Muss sie nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Nein
Sie muss nicht reich sein
Doch um eines möchte ich bitten
Dicke Titten
Ich bin auch gar nicht anspruchsvoll
Doch große Brüste wären toll
Sie muss nicht schön sein
Sie muss nicht klug sein
Sie muss nur reich sein
An Fettgewebe bitte, bitte
Sie wird nichts bei mir vermissen
Sie braucht mich auch gar nicht küssen
Braucht mich nicht mit Trauben laben
Sie muss nur Riesentitten haben
A Neuplot production.
Bright New Disease is the Boris & Uniform collaborative album. Written and recorded in the darkest days of the pandemic, it is the sound of frustration, but one founded on resilience.
Boris and Uniform might have seemed like a strange pairing when they teamed up for a US tour back in 2019. Sure, both bands harness the power of big, blown-out riffs, but Boris’s rock heroics, lysergic sprawl, and monolithic sludge summon a different energy than Uniform’s mechanized bombardments and frenzied assaults. However, when Boris invited Uniform to team up on a reimagined version of their classic “Akuma no Uta” as a part of their encore, there was an obvious chemistry between the artists. The idea of a collaborative album came up, and the bands spent the next year swapping song ideas and recordings from their homebase studios until Boris and Uniform had an album that captured the fearless exploration and unbridled power of their live performances. Sacred Bones Records is proud to present the Boris & Uniform collaborative album Bright New Disease on June 16, 2023.
“On tour, we learned more about the depth of their musicality, which we felt was compatible with our own expression,” Boris’s Atsuo and Takeshi say of their tourmates. “They are a band that can be described in many ways—punk, metal, industrial—but they truly excel because they are not locked into any style. They are always experimenting and innovating.” The feeling was mutual. “Uniform have been longtime fans and admirers of Boris. Supporting them on tour was a dream come true,” says Uniform vocalist/electronics wrangler Michael Berdan. Guitarist and producer Ben Greenberg was equally excited by the opportunity to team up with Boris and shape the recording of Bright New Disease in his studio. “Wata is one of my favorite guitar players ever, so I'm very stoked we got two dueling solo tracks on this record,” Greenberg says, referring to the intertwined guitar leads on “Endless Death Agony.” This isn’t to say there wasn’t also a shared appreciation for certain classics, particularly when it came to Japanese hardcore. “The first time I met Atsuo he was wearing a Gastunk shirt, and Takeshi has schooled me harder on Burning Spirits than any fetishist westerner could ever hope for,” says Berdan.
PYRAMAZE - Alliance (feat. Melissa Bonny) (2023) // Official Music Video // AFM Records
Every great album needs a powerful ballad. Even better, when you hire a featuring artist who blends perfectly with PYRAMAZE'S sound and creates a duet which is as fantastic as you can imagine. PYRAMAZE singer Terje Harøy & Ad Infinitum's Melissa Bonny create a chemistry which we never knew we craved for so hard. "Alliance" defies with power, is a well and appropriately chosen ballad in the album tracklisting and is in no way inferior in its conviction.
Lyrics:
When desperate feelings call out your name
Games are lost and no one’s to blame
Your self esteem’s in decline
Rest assured
You’re about to learn why your world might take a turn
Entwined by the secrets of delight
This lifelong alliance shines tonight
(So stay)
Invisible forces wrap me in
(Just stay)
The feeling of anguish has been
Rage and fury’s controlling your mind, oh
Small misfortunes are making you blind
Sometimes things are not what they seem, oh
You’ve been blessed by much stronger genes
Put your strengths into better schemes
Entwined by the secrets of delight
This lifelong alliance shines tonight
(Hold on)
Somehow this madness fades away
(Hold on)
You’re leading my darkness astray
If only our lifetime was forever
I’d never ask for anything more
But our spirits may live for a thousand years
And return for more
Entwined by the secrets of delight
This lifelong alliance is tight
We’re bound by this mutual energy
A stronghold of you and me
(We’ll go on)
Nothing can change the way we feel
(Go on)
No one can tear us apart
(Go on)
Nothing can change the way we feel (the way we feel)
Lyrics:
We buried thoughts
And followed rules
Time went by
Our bodies grew
Heavy feet on grounds we knew
A place we once
Called our youth
We carry souls
Brave hearts approved
Side by side
Our bodies bruised
Tears in our eyes
Nobody knew
We marched at dawn
Already doomed
War das alles [Was this all]
Wie kann es nur sein [How can it be]
Es ist vorbei [It is over]
Our bodies intertwined
Our souls forever lost in time
Can’t you see
How precious time should be
A strong mind sets you free
War das alles [Was this all]
Wie kann es nur sein [How can it be]
Es ist vorbei [It's over]
War das alles [Was this all]
Ist es vorbei [Is it over]
Ich bin nicht mehr [I am no more]
Lyrics:
It's time to rise up
Take back control
So dark is the night we face
But we won't face it alone
We stand undivided
We will never fade away
Our walls might shake, they won't collapse
As a new dawn lights this day
When darkness falls not all light is fading
I will be the one always waiting
For you to find the faith you need
To fight for what you truly believe in
Find the voice that guides you from within
Become the flame that burns in me
Through the night
Through the night forever
Through the night we ride until dawn is in sight
To the light
That will unravel
All mysteries, yeah tonight we break free
Fear is the poison
And passion is the cure
So take my hand, believe in me
There's no pain we can't endure
The world we created
Is worth fighting for
With hearts aflame, we make our stand
Once and for all
Through the night
Through the night forever
Through the night we ride until dawn is in sight
To the light
That will unravel
All mysteries, yeah tonight we break free
