Prolific singer, actor, writer, and audiobook narrator Leslie Odom Jr. made his Broadway debut when he was just 17. But it was his turn as Aaron Burr in the smash 2015 musical Hamilton that earned him critical acclaim, and Tony and Grammy awards.

This fall, Leslie ended a seven-year hiatus from Broadway with a triumphant performance in the title role of Purlie Victorious: (A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch), and releases his fifth and most personal studio album, When a Crooner Dies, on November 17.

Thanks to his long term collaboration with Harry Styles, musician Mitch Rowland has written songs that have been streamed billions of times and played sold-out stadiums around the world. Now, the GRAMMY-winning multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ohio has released his debut solo album, Come June.

Their first 4 singles alone suggest that, going at least 3 times platinum each time. And to think it all happened within 2 years, 2014 and 2015. But it didn’t stop there. They’d score their first #1 song in 2016 with Black Beatles going 8 times platinum, representing the peak of Rae Sremmurd. As successful as they became, their fall from being hot was just as swift, they went a total of 4 times platinum in 2018, to nothing for the next 4 years, losing enough steam that they haven’t been able to do that since. From the jump, Bombay Bicycle Club had an uncanny ability to package complex melodies into pristine indie rock parcels. “Always Like This,” the fan favorite from their mostly rockin’ but sometimes folky 2009 debut album, is a lesson in counterpoint from bassist Ed Nash and guitarist Jamie MacColl. On next year’s acoustic-leaning “Flaws” album, the beautifully simple “Dust on The Ground” is followed by “Ivy & Gold,” a sparkling jig that makes you want to pick up your own guitar and try to nail its intricate melody. The 2000s indie golden era was typified by ambitious songwriting, and the London quartet exemplified it with songs that were both angular and angsty, yet lush and downright pretty. It all came together on ‘A Different Kind Of Fix,’ where vocalist/guitarist Jack Steadman’s experimental pastiches of harmonies, falsettos, samples, and synths still left space for fantastic bass and guitar lines; see: “Lights Out, Words Gone” and “Shuffle.” More than a decade removed from that album, they’re strong as ever. 2020’s shifty, crunchy, and hypnotic “Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)” boasts more than 60 million Spotify streams. We had a blast capturing four tracks from their sixth studio album ‘My Big Day.’ On this project they invited some friends: Damon Albarn, Nilufer Yanya, Jay Som, Chaka Khan (!!!) and Holly Humberstone. But in our studio, it was the core four doing what they do best: creating space for each member, trading riffs, enchanting listeners.

Moonlighting is an American television series that aired on ABC from March 3, 1985, to May 14, 1989. The network aired a total of 66 episodes (67 in syndication as the pilot is split into two episodes). Starring Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis as private detectives, the show was a mixture of drama, comedy, and romance, and was considered to be one of the first successful and influential examples of comedy-drama, or "dramedy", emerging as a distinct television genre.

The show's theme song was performed by jazz singer Al Jarreau and became a hit. The show is also credited with making Willis a star, while re-launching the career of Shepherd after a string of lackluster projects. In 1997, the episode "The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice" was ranked #34 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. In 2007, the series was listed as one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All-Time." The relationship between David and Maddie was included in TV Guide‍ '​s list of the best TV couples of all time.

The series revolved around cases investigated by the Blue Moon Detective Agency and its two partners, Madelyn "Maddie" Hayes (Shepherd) and David Addison Jr. (Willis). The show, with a mix of mystery, sharp dialogue, and sexual tension between its two leads, introduced Bruce Willis to the world and brought Cybill Shepherd back into the spotlight after a nearly decade-long absence.

The characters were introduced in a two-hour pilot episode that preceded the series proper. The show's storyline begins with the reversal of fortune of Maddie Hayes, a former model who finds herself bankrupt after her accountant embezzles all of her liquid assets. She is left saddled with several failing businesses formerly maintained as tax write-offs, one of which is the City of Angels Detective Agency, helmed by the carefree David Addison.

Between the pilot and the first one-hour episode, David persuades Maddie to keep the business and run it as a partnership. The agency is renamed Blue Moon Investigations because Maddie was most famous for being the spokesmodel for the (fictitious) Blue Moon Shampoo Company. In many episodes, she was recognized as "the Blue Moon shampoo girl," if not by name.
