LYRICS
Some days, I see things too clearly
And what I held so dearly
Distorts and covers me in shame
Cus I feel it
Makes me so sick
I’m reminded not to look away
Don’t look away - from the pain, from the damage you create
Don’t look away, be afraid, that’s the impulse that you’ve made
Don’t look away
It’s starting to kill you
It’s starting bleed you dry again
Infected, so desperate, swallow more cus that poison keeps me selfless
Just reckless, begging hearts to come to their senses
Drowning, replaying every moment as I’m suffocating
I’ll sacrifice myself
In hope that one day I’m erased
I see what I’ve done, accepting my fate, god give me an escape

LYRICS:

You know it’s all over town
People see us around
We’re back with a new attitude
We’re tearing places apart
Coming straight for your heart
We’re still the boys from the old school
Such a monstrous sound
Can’t keep your feet on the ground
Into the pit, you mosh and groove
Oh yes, were Raising Fresh Hell
In case you can’t tell?
The dead is back with something new
Time! Moves so slow and then you’re gone
Thrash! The ultimate feel when you hear the song
Scream! From the top of your lungs as we go off
Blast! Right through the pit where you belong.
We’re on a mission can’t stop us now
The dead is coming to destroy your town
Raising…Fresh Hell - Raising…Fresh Hell
Raising…Fresh Hell - Raising…Fresh Hell
We’re on a mission can’t stop us now
The dead is coming to destroy your town
With all out fury breaking all the rules
Controlled chaos sets the mood
You know it’s all over town
People see us around
We’re back with a new attitude
We’re tearing places apart
Coming straight for your heart
We’re still boys from the old school
Such a monstrous sound
Can’t keep your feet on the ground
Into the pit, you mosh, and groove
Oh yes, were Raising Fresh Hell
In case you can’t tell?
The dead is back, and we’re going to take your life

FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE "PENDULUM" LYRICS

Francesco: Himself
Veronica: Fate

I'll kill myself without realizing it
Nail after nail until the bitter end
Love for the unknown is what brought me up here
Where air is so thin that we can barely breathe
But better not look down
(Fate) - But this time you went too far -
Oh come on!
(Fate) - On the path of no return -
I can't believe it!
I'm falling down
Straight to f---g hell
I'm dying, help!
Nobody hears
"The dead" is the man who can not give up
Haunted by the fear of dishonour
Dreams made of lead fill my barrel
Waiting to be shot straight into my brain
My russian roulette
I'm falling down
Straight to f---g hell
I'm dying, help!
Nobody hears "the dead"
(Fate) - Like dead meat hanging by a thread -
But it's not my fault...
(Fate) - You get the end you deserve -
Sooner or later...
(Fate) - Lost soul! -
Swinging between life and death in a world upside down
(Fate) - Fool! Walking on the edge! -
And now I'm a god damned pendulum
(Fate) - Come up against this inglorious end -
Yes, a f---g pendulum!
I'm falling down
Straight to f---g hell
I'm dying, help!
The f---g pendulum!

Death… our inevitable ruin that calls for us sooner or later. Many who are fortunate enough to temporarily escape its fatal clutches experience life altering changes, finding renewed purpose, rejuvenated creative spirit and a reawakening of the soul. Such as the story goes for FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE frontman Francesco Paoli who in 2021 was involved in a tragic mountain climbing accident that left him clinging to life with years of recovery ahead, and ultimately inspiring the band’s first music in years.

Inspired by horrific event, the new single ‘Pendulum’ swings with intense ferocity and baroque classical movements, seething with anguished pain.

Commenting on the song, Francesco Paoli says:

“This is the first song we release since my ‘dance’ with death, back in August 2021. It's obvious that such a life changing event would have affected our music. It took a toll on me, physically and mentally, and sharing my experience is also part of my healing process. Pendulum is just the opening chapter of a bigger story, which is yet to be told…”

Mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica, Arch Enemy), ‘Pendulum’ encapsulates all the core elements that FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE are known for: sheer violence, majestic orchestrations and soaring operatic melodies. The stunning artwork was created by Italian artist Ludovico Cioffi.

The new single is accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Martina L. McLean (GHOST, OCEANA).

Paoli adds about the video:

“The music video, realized by visionary Italian director Martina L. McLean, turned my unfortunate incident into a monumental visual experience, an awe inspiring blend of obscure symbolism, surreal architectures and nightmarish mythological creatures. It perfectly portraits the struggle and the desperation of that day, a day of defeat... but also the day of my rebirth.”

Buzz LYRICS:
It’s the anticipation when the amps turn on
Just cables and crackle
It’s the first flicker of the neon sign
It’s the words stuck in your Adam’s apple
It’s a hand on the handle of the front door
It’s making eyes in the middle of the dance floor
I feel like hot shit, wanna make out
in your car in the lot of a drugstore
It’s a bumblebee on a blossom
The first coffee shop run in autumn
It’s that feeling, a propeller
The first line of a fucking bestseller
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
It’s the accidental touch when you don’t mean to
The thickest tension
It’s the millisecond freeze frame after good news
or an unexpected mention
It’s the big long bow before the show ends
The phone toss when it’s risky and you hit send
It’s feeling dizzy when you’re tipsy
Wondering why you’re so nervous ‘round a so-called “friend”
It’s goosebumps when you hear the drums
The running start before the big jump
It’s that feeling, so stellar
Bro, if you like her just go & fucking tell her
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
The song’s about to start (can you hear it?)
The door’s about to open (can you feel it?)
The flower’s about to fruit (can you see it?)
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you
I’m about to fall for you

LYRICS

He said
“You bore me to death”
“I know you heard me the first time” and
“Be sad but don’t be depressed”
Just think it over, over and
He said
“It’s all in your head”
“But keep an ear to the grapevine” and
“Get drunk but don’t be a mess”
Keep thinking over, over
I try

But it’s hard to hit rewind
When I feel like
I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over
I try

He said
“You need to be fed”
“But keep an eye on your waistline” and
“Look good but don’t be obsessed”
Keep thinking over, over
I try

But it’s hard to know what’s right
When I feel like I’m borrowing all of my time
And it’s hard to hit rewind
When I feel like
I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over

I feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over I
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Feel like I’m losing my mind
Over and over
I try
