This is the essential critical review of the music of the Electric Light Orchestra during the Roy Wood era. This unique independent film traces the development of the band from the tail-end of the Move era in the late sixties through to the creation of ELO’s legendary debut album and on to the birth of Wizzard.
This film draws on performance footage of the original ELO, featuring the combined talents of Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan and Roy Wood, alongside the frank and incisive views of a team of leading critics and working musicians. This is the definitive retrospective of the birth of a legendary band, and is essential viewing for every ELO fan.
Featuring highlights from 10538 Overture, Jeff’s Boogie #2, Queen of the Hours, Whisper in the Night and more.

Three 6 Mafia, otherwise known as Triple 6 or da Mafia, is an iconic, GRAMMY award winning, American hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee. The group's membership varied from album to album, the constant duo being Juicy J and DJ Paul. Other members included Gangsta Boo, Crunchy Black, Lord Infamous, and Koopsta Knicca. Since beginning their career in 1991, the group achieved worldwide fame with their distinctive style of Memphis crunk, characterized by choppy, shouted lyrics and drum machine beats. They’re most known for their classic hits such as “Stay Fly,” “Tear Da Club Up,” and “It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp” (featuring Frayser Boy), which earned them the 2006 Oscar for Best Original Song. Three 6 Mafia has also worked with several well-known artists including Project Pat, Eightball & MJG, Wiz Khalifa and UGK. Three 6 Mafia is considered one of the founding fathers of modern-day rap and hip hop.

(Lyrics)

Can I get some space
Baby give me time to think
Is you gone be able to love
Am I gone be able to trust ya
Stuck in my feelings, yea
Head over heart
Lying in the dark
Trying to make sense of it
Is you gone be inside my bed
Thoughts of you stuck in my head
And I know this shit ain’t going no where
I know this shit’ll never be fair
Loving you is complicated
Trusting you is just a maybe
I wanna leave it but I can’t stop
Another nigga taking my spot
Wanting you is breaking me heart

It’s something about ya
something about ya
Make me wanna
Something about ya
Something about ha
Make me want ya
You got me

Questioning if it’s worth it
Damn this shit just ain’t working
First we breaking up then you call me up
Falling back in love
I just don’t understand
How can we do this shit over again
Just cause I love you and you love me
That doesn’t mean that we’re meant to be
Can you hold my heart and not break it
Thinking I got yours
But the most frightening thing is baby
I know this shit ain’t going no where
I know this shit’ll never be fair
Loving you is complicated
Trusting you is just a maybe
I wanna leave it but I can’t stop
Another nigga taking my spot
Wanting you is breaking me heart

It’s something about ya
Something about ya
Make me, wanna,
Something about ya
(I can’t let it go darling)
(I can’t let it go darling)
Something about ya (You make)
Make me, want ya
Something about ya,
Something about ya,
Make me, wanna,
Something about ya
(I can’t let it go darling)
(I can’t let it go darling)
Something about ha,
Make me, want ya
You got me,
You got me, oh
You got me, oh
You got me, oh

Lyrics:
Join in my
Join in my child
And listen, digging through
My old numb shadow

My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking scabs again
I'm down, digging through
My old muscles looking for a clue

I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a piece to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in
I want to feel the changes coming down
I want to know what I've been hiding

In my shadow
My shadow
Change is coming through my shadow
My shadow
Shedding skin
I've been picking
My scabs again

Join in my
Join in my child
My shadow's
Closer to meaning

I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
Insecure delusions
I wanna feel the change consume me
Feel the outside turning in
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I've endured in

My shadow
My shadow
Change is coming
Now is my time
Listen to my muscle memory
Contemplate what I've been clinging to
Forty six and two ahead of me

I choose to live and to
Grow, take and give and to
Move, learn and love and to
Cry, kill and die and to
Be paranoid and to
Lie, hate and fear and to
Do what it takes to move through

I choose to live and to
Lie, kill and give and to
Die, learn and love and to
Do what it takes to step through

See my shadow changing
Stretching up and over me
Soften this old armor
Hoping I can clear the way by
Stepping through my shadow
Coming out the other side
Step into the shadow
Forty six and two are just ahead of me
