Kash Doll On Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Chief Keef, Detroit, Men, Relationships & Performs! Hotney 31 Streams • 2 years ago

The Queen of Detroit, Kash Doll, joins Club Shay Shay for an unforgettable conversation with Shannon Sharpe. In this must-watch episode, the platinum-certified rapper, actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist drops knowledge with her Kash Kommandments, revealing the unfiltered rules every woman should live by when it comes to love, money, and self-respect.

Kicking things off with a live performance of her hit track “Kash Kommandments” from her latest album The Last Doll, Kash Doll sets the stage for an insightful conversation about relationships, independence, and leveling up. She shares the inspirations behind her music, including how The Notorious B.I.G.'s Ten Crack Commandments shaped her own empowering message for women.

From navigating the entertainment industry as a self-made boss to balancing motherhood and business, Kash Doll gets real about the lessons she’s learned. She reveals why women should never let a man play them twice, how to spot insecurity disguised as control, and why loyalty and authenticity always trump wealth. She also touches on the challenges of staying true to yourself in the industry and emphasizes knowing your worth.

Kash Doll opens up about the hard lessons she’s learned regarding family, financial boundaries, and self-sufficiency. She drops gems about the importance of having your own money to avoid feeling trapped, stating, “If he brings all the food to the table, you give him all the power to starve you.”

The conversation shifts to friendships, loyalty, and the importance of saying “no” to establish boundaries. Kash Doll shares her perspective on masculinity in relationships, explaining how the right man can bring out a woman's softer side, but the wrong one turns it into a power struggle.

Reflecting on her journey, Kash Doll takes us back to her childhood in Detroit, sharing stories of tough times, school struggles, and growing up in a household where she had to step into a caregiving role for her siblings. She talks about her early jobs—working at Little Caesars and Best Buy—and how exotic dancing gave her the confidence to make her mark in music. Kash Doll’s story is one of resilience, empowerment, and self-made success.

From opening for Chief Keef to getting recognition from Drake, Kash Doll’s rise in the music industry wasn’t without its challenges. She reflects on how she shifted from dancing to rapping and how she’s learned to navigate relationships, loyalty, and money with authenticity.

Kash Doll also dives into personal experiences, including a theft that cost her $500,000 in jewelry and another robbery at her Atlanta home. These experiences taught her valuable lessons about letting go of material possessions and focusing on what truly matters.

With her signature confidence and unfiltered honesty, Kash Doll shares her experiences with Empire and BMF, discussing her career evolution and how she’s moving beyond the “doll” label in the rap world to be recognized for her talent.

From navigating tough personal boundaries to managing her wealth, Kash Doll drops gems on staying grounded and true to yourself in the entertainment industry. This is one episode you don’t want to miss—class is in session!

Lyrics:
Ooohhhh
I’m riding with you

Baby I made up my mind
While I was staring in your eyes
Losing track of the time
Let’s make it last forever
Darling I wanna run away together

So where are we going tonight now baby?
Where am I going tonight now baby

With you
I’m riding with you
With you
I’m riding with you

Baby we know this is it
Both of us have been searching our whole life for this shit
We’ve got no time to waste
Darling can we please get out of this place?

So where are we going tonight now baby?
Where am I going tonight now baby

With you
I’m riding with you
With you
I’m riding with you

It seems like we both been waiting
I’ve got no more time for wasting
I’ve been searching my whole life baby
It’s true, I wanna be

With you
I’m riding with you
With you
I’m riding with you

Lyrics:
Today I start a new life
I rise above the storm
Nobody can control me
No more
I know your name, you’ll never get away
I’ll stand my ground and ever disobey
You’re none of my kind, my kind

Arms wide open, still unbroken
Dare to stop me now

Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you’ll never be missed
Welcome to My enemy list
Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you fail to exist
Welcome to my enemy list

Your bitterness won’t touch me
I don’t feel any pain
Don’t ever cross the red line
It’s mine

Arms wide open, still unbroken
Dare to stop me now

Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you’ll never be missed
Welcome to my enemy list
Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you fail to exist
Welcome to my enemy list

I’ll put your name on my enemy list
I’ll put your name
I’ll put your name on my enemy list

Arms wide open, still unbroken
Dare to stop me now

Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you’ll never be missed
Welcome to my enemy list
Whatever you say, whatever you do
I will not change, won’t follow you
Whatever you try, you fail to exist
Welcome to my enemy list

And I will leave you in misery
I will rise above, no stopping me
Whatever you try, you’ll never be missed
Welcome to my enemy list

I will leave you in misery
I will rise above, no stopping me
Welcome to my enemy list

In this eye-opening video, we finally reveal the real reasons Maria Elena did not attend her late spouse's funeral service or burial in his hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Through exclusive interviews and examination of overlooked historical records, the full truth emerges about the painful circumstances that kept Holly's bereaved wife from properly mourning with his family and fans.

You will learn about the whirlwind romance between Buddy and Maria Elena that saw them impulsively marry within weeks of meeting at a New York music office. Their happily-ever-after turned devastating when Holly perished in the infamous 1959 plane crash that also killed Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.

We detail how a pregnant Maria Elena shockingly miscarried their child upon learning of Buddy's untimely demise. Bedridden by grief and trauma, attending the distant funeral proved medically impossible for her. But misunderstandings in Lubbock brewed about Maria Elena lacking respect for failing to be present at her own husband's burial.

The video explores Maria Elena's painful path to healing from profound personal loss while navigating prejudice as a Latina in conservative Texas. You'll learn why she harbored resentment toward Lubbock for decades over their judgmental treatment of her as Buddy's widow. We analyze the ongoing tensions between Maria Elena and the city government over commemorating his legacy properly.

Finally, hear in Maria Elena's own words her perspective on protecting Buddy Holly's name, image, and music from misuse even long after his passing. Get the full story behind the funeral absence that made Maria Elena a mythical figure in rock history.
