Lyrics:

IT’S THE SHAME, IT’S THE PAIN, SOMETHING I CAN’T EXPLAIN
IT’S A NOISE, IT’S A VOICE, AND IT SCREAMS IN MY BRAIN
ITS A CURSE, AND IT HURTS
BUT I JUST KEEP GOIN’.
I LEAN INTO THE STORM, IT’S THE WAY I WAS BORN.
CUZ MY FEAR IS A FLAME,AND IT CAN’T BE IGNORED.
KEEPING FAITH THAT IS BLIND, THROUGH THE TEARS IN MY EYES
BUT I JUST KEEP GOIN’.

I CLIMB EVEREST.
KNOWING IT’S LIFE OR DEATH
OH,AND MY SURVIVAL IS SUICIDAL
THIS VICIOUS CYCLE.
KNOWING I WON’T EVER REST
UNTIL MY DYING BREATH.
TIL I HAVE NOTHING LEFT.
EVEREST.

IT’S THE CURE, IT’S A POISON, I DON’T HAVE A CHOICE IN
THE SILENT DEFIANCE, THAT I FIND MY VOICE IN
CUZ I HAVE DECIDED
TO JUST KEEP GOING
IT’S THE RUSH, IT’S THE FEELING, THAT KEEPS ME BELIEVING
THAT I HAVE THE STRENGTH, WHEN I DON’T HAVE A REASON
TO FIGHT, IS MY VICE ,WHEN I DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT
TO JUST KEEP GOING

I’M COUNTING BODIES ON THE WAY
KNOWING ANY ONE COULD TAKE MY PLACE
KNOWING I COULD GIVE MY LIFE FOR SOMETHING
AND IT MIGHT ALL BE FOR NOTHIN’

I CLIMB EVEREST.
KNOWING IT’S LIFE OR DEATH
OH,AND MY SURVIVAL IS SUICIDAL
THIS VICIOUS CYCLE.
KNOWING I WON’T EVER REST
UNTIL MY DYING BREATH.
TIL I HAVE NOTHING LEFT.
EVEREST.

ALL MY LIFE I’VE HAD TO FIGHT
AND I DON’T KNOW WHY I JUST KEEP GOING
BUT THERES A LIGHT AND I JUST MIGHT
GET THAT HIGH IF I JUST KEEP GOING
ALL MY LIFE I’VE HAD TO FIGHT
AND I DON’T KNOW WHY I JUST KEEP GOING
BUT THERES A LIGHT AND I JUST MIGHT
GET THAT HIGH IF IF I KEEP CLIMBING ..

EVEREST.
KNOWING IT’S LIFE OR DEATH
OH,AND MY SURVIVAL IS SUICIDAL
THIS VICIOUS CYCLE.
KNOWING I WON’T EVER REST
UNTIL MY DYING BREATH.
TIL I HAVE NOTHING LEFT.
EVEREST.
I’LL DIE WITH NO REGRETS
EVEREST.

Letra:

Mhmm ahh
FloyyMenor, Cris MJ

Nena, no te vo'a compartir, y si me toca ir
Te voy a hacer venir, nena, antes de irme (Ah-ah)
Mami, voy a seducirte
En la cama, nena, voy a desvestirte
No te vo'a compartir, y si me toca ir
Te voy a hacer venir, nena, antes de irme (Ah-ah)
Mami, voy a seducirte
En la cama, nena, voy a desvestirte

Esta noche nos quemamo'
En la isla sí perreamo'
Que te chingue no es que te amo
Entre tú y yo no nos celamo'
Y si te chingo no es que te ame
Te lo he dicho más de una vez
Nena

Yo quiero comerte to'a
Encima se moja to'a, se me moja to'a
Chingamo' de má' en la alcoba
Quiere que se la eche to'a, pide que se la eche to'a

Toa, toa, toa, toa, toa

No me diga' má' "te amo"
No te queme', no quiero drama ni que me ame'
Tú excitada en la cama
Nos matamo', nos gustamo'

Ma, yo no te vo'a compartir, y si me toca ir
Te voy a hacer venir, nena, antes de irme (Ah-ah)
Mami, voy a seducirte
En la cama, nena, voy a desvestirte
No te vo'a compartir, y si me toca ir

Drink Champs (N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN) on Joe Budden & Pusha T's Pharrell-Drake rant | Fat Jo Hotney 11 Streams • 1 year ago

The hip hop podcast crossover we've all been waiting for: N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, the co-hosts of Drink Champs, join Fat Joe and Jadakiss for a legendary episode of Joe and Jada. They discuss the evolution of podcasting in hip hop culture, DMX's memorable Drink Champs episode, N.O.R.E. saying that Joe Budden, Million Dollaz Worth of Game, and Drink Champs are the only three rap podcasts that matter, their spinoff projects Run Champs and Smoke Champs, and Pusha T calling up N.O.R.E. to rant about Pharrell's answer to a question about him and Drake. The episode predictably goes off the rails with hilarious stories about N.O.R.E. saving Joe's life in Germany, Jadakiss getting pressed by TSA, Joe discovering a young Pitbull in Miami, and N.O.R.E.'s early adoption of reggaeton with Daddy Yankee.

kwn - stand on it | Vevo DSCVR

kwn’s debut album, 'with all due respect,' opens with a minute-long piano ballad called “bite me INTRO.” It’s a clear thesis statement of the don’t-give-a-f*ck attitude that’s earned the East London native serious recognition from R&B fans. Music was everywhere during her childhood: her dad was a DJ, and her step-grandfather would wake a young Khy Wilson by softly playing the piano. After attending a local arts college, she tried her hand at rap, eventually got signed, but felt boxed in by industry expectations. It’s no surprise the independent route suited kwn. She secured funding for her breakout track, “Worst Behavior,” through savvy social media marketing and a hustler mindset. 12,000 early sales of the future hit covered the cost of proper mixing and mastering, and helped bankroll her full-length debut. Then came the “bow" moment, as kwn calls it, when everything popped off. The apex was the “Worst Behavior” music video, which features a steamy makeout scene with fellow R&B rascal Kehlani, sending the internet into a frenzy. Over the course of nine tracks on 'with all due respect,' it becomes clear that beneath her hard-edged exterior, kwn craves authentic connection. Whether it’s a fleeting night out or daily rounds of bedsheet tussles, there’s a sense that something deeper simmers beneath the surface of her explicit desires. “Things that you said, said with your chest / But before we start breaking,” she sings on “do what I say,” adding nuance to the lusty dynamic. On “stand on it,” she admits, “I do get jealous,” but quickly clarifies, “I’m not embarrassed.” That tension - between vulnerability and bravado - is front and center in this DSCVR performance of “back of the club,” delivered with the kind of effortless cool that’s bound to leave viewers hot under the collar.

Aey Kuljira - Half of Everything (“Shine” Original Soundtrack) [Official Music Video] Hotney 11 Streams • 1 year ago

Half of Everything explores how people tend to see the world only through the lens they choose—hearing only what they want to hear, and understanding only what they’ve experienced. Yet the world always has more than one side. Even after trying to see all angles, we may still not truly grasp the full picture. The song becomes a poetic reflection on the limits of perception and the incomplete truths we all carry.

Lyrics: Sudkhate Jungcharoen

Lyrics:
Building up a cotton sky, clouds are drifting high and wide.
They look like castles drawn within a child's mind.
Raise my hand to touch them—but then I realized.
That I had only seen them from one side.

Clouds can rise to a towering wall.
Then drop their snow to cover all.
They dim the day and hush the light,
turn the sky to sudden night.
Reached out to stop them—only then I realized.
This is the vision from another’s eyes.

We only see what we are shown, and know what we are told.
We miss the truth that sits beneath the fold.
We hear the parts we wanna hear,
Ignore that doesn’t shine or sing—
But that’s just half of everything.

We fall in love with what we see,
Not always who someone might be.
We paint a face we long to find,
Then break when it’s not right.
I held on tight, and now I realize,
That I had only seen them from one side.

The Killing Call, Ep 2: Sidhu Moose Wala and the Murder that Shook India - BBC World Service Docs Hotney 11 Streams • 1 year ago

EPISODE 2: Three years after the murder of Punjabi hip-hop icon Sidhu Moose Wala, #BBCEye questions the gangster who says he ordered the killing.

Click here to subscribe to our channel 👉🏽 https://bbc.in/3VyyriM

On 29 May 2022, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered by hired hitmen who followed his car, shot him through the windscreen, and left him to die. As news of the killing spread across India and around the world, a gangster named Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the hit. But three years later, no-one has been convicted of this murder, the motives remain murky, and Goldy Brar is still on the run.

BBC Eye Investigations has been talking to some of the people closest to Sidhu Moose Wala, tracing his rise from obscurity to stardom, finding out how he made enemies of India’s most feared gang, and asking why they wanted him dead.

It’s a story that takes us from the villages of rural India to the hip-hop scene of eastern Canada, from the turbulant history of Punjab to the contested politics of modern India, and from the shadowy world of organised crime to a chilling phone call with the fugitive gangster, who says he ordered the hit.

Based on hours of unseen archive and exclusive access to Sidhu’s friends and musical collaborators, the film features voices that have never spoken to the media before.

00:00 The murder that shook India
05:49 The Reset: Sidhu returns to Punjab
09:20 Punjab: A complex history
14:28 A voice for the farmer’s protest
