Lyrics:
We are the children of the devolution
The infamous martyrs
The scars on the sun
Asphyxiating with a smile on your face
While they pull your teeth out one by one

Is this what you wanted?
NO
Do you want some more?
YES
D-generation
Who’s keeping score?

Cos you got a taste now
Drank the Kool-aid by the jug
So suffer your fate, ow
Come here and give me a hug
Nobody loves you like I love you
Oh my dear
But you should have known
That this was gonna end in tears

Such a sucker for an execution
The void is a vampire
Fat on our blood
Domesticated like a cat in a cage
While they try their hand at playing god

Is this what you wanted?
NO
Do you want some more?
YES
D-generation
Afraid there’s no cure

Cos you got a taste now
Drank the Kool-aid by the jug
So suffer your fate, ow
Come here and give me a hug
Nobody loves you like I love you
Oh my dear
But you should have known
That this was gonna end in tears

I got my hands around your throat
I love the way you choke
Cos I am yours and you are mine
I’ll never let you go
My hands around your throat
I love the way you choke
Cos I am yours and you are mine
I’ll never let you go

I’ll never let you go
Get the fuck up

Cos you got a taste now
Drank the Kool-aid by the jug
So suffer your fate, ow
Come here and give me a hug
Nobody loves you like I love you
Oh my dear
But you should have known
You should have known
But you should have known
That this was gonna end in tears

Lyrics:

What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up
Can’t you see it’s just me and you
Panoramic view, that’s my point of view babe
All about me- that’s the energy
That’s that lemon pepper thing
I’m a ten-piece baby

Bedroom bully in the bando
He gonna make it flip
Do it with no handles
Never switching sides,
Only switching angles
Oooo we go crazy like Rambo

What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up
What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up

Hit ‘em up,
Hit ‘em up in a truck
Got it tucked
He get it up, like its stuck
All night, I like
You ain’t gotta say when you know its onsite

Bedroom bully in the bando
He gonna make it flip
Do it with no handles
Never switching sides,
Only switching angles
Oooo we go crazy like Rambo

What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up
What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up

I don’t care if you run the streets
As long as you’re coming home to me
I love the way you walk and the way you speak
He gonna keep it real
That’s the deal
That’s the reason I speed down
I put that all on my name
Yea, that’s an even exchange
Stay on your tail
We gonna tell ‘em
We gonna tell ‘em
What babe

What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up
What it is hoe?
What’s up?
Every good girl needs a little thug
Every block boy needs a little love
If he put it down, Imma pick it up, up, up

Back it up and do-do it like that, yea
Back it up and do it like that, yea
Back it up, back it and do it like that, yea
Back it up, don’t do it like that, yea

Ay what it is?
Ay what’s up?
J White did it
More hits on the way yeah
We need a little love
You know what I mean?
Ride out, woah

Discover the fascinating story of Life of Agony, a band whose roots trace back to the hardcore scene but evolved into a unique blend of alternative metal. Formed in 1989, the band's early years were marked by personal struggles and musical experimentation, culminating in their debut album "River Runs Red" in 1993, a groundbreaking conceptual narrative touching on theme of personal suffering.

Despite facing challenges and lineup changes over the years, including the departure of original vocalist Keith Caputo, the band continued to push boundaries and explore new musical territories with albums like "Ugly" and "Soul Searching Sun." In 2003, they embarked on a series of reunion shows and eventually released their fourth album, "Broken Valley," in 2005.

The band's journey took a significant turn in 2011 when Caputo came out as transgender, transitioning to Mina Caputo. This momentous event brought both personal and professional changes for the band, yet they persevered, releasing albums like "A Place Where There's No More Pain" in 2017 and "The Sound of Scars" in 2019, the latter serving as a sequel to their iconic debut.

With a rich history spanning over three decades, Life of Agony remains a powerful force in the alternative metal scene, continuing to create music that resonates with audiences worldwide. Stay tuned as they embark on new musical endeavors and celebrate milestones like the 30th anniversary of "River Runs Red" with commemorative tours and documentaries.
