Lyrics:
Oh, the night is my world
City light painted girl
In the day nothing matters
It's the night time that flatters
In the night, no control
Through the wall something's breaking
Wearing white as you're walkin'
Down the street of my soul

You take my self, you take my self control
You got me livin' only for the night
Before the morning comes, the story's told
You take my self, you take my self control
Another night, another day goes by
I never stop myself to wonder why
You help me to forget to play my role
You take my self, you take my self control

I, I live among the creatures of the night
I haven't got the will to try and fight
Against a new tomorrow, so I guess I'll just believe it
That tomorrow never comes
A safe night, I'm living in the forest of a dream
I know the night is not as it would seem
I must believe in something, so I'll make myself believe it
That this night will never go

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh

Oh, the night is my world
City light painted girl
In the day nothing matters
It's the night time that flatters

You take my self, you take my self control
You got me livin' only for the night
Before the morning comes, the story's told
You take my self, you take my self control

I, I live among the creatures of the night
I haven't got the will to try and fight
Against a new tomorrow, so I guess I'll just believe it
That tomorrow never knows
A safe night, I'm living in the forest of a dream
I know the night is not as it would seem
I must believe in something, so I'll make myself believe it
That this night will never go

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh

You take my self, you take my self control
You take my self, you take my self control
You take my self, you take my self control
You take my self, you take my self control

I, I live among the creatures of the night
I haven't got the will to try and fight
I'm living in the forest of a dream
I know the night is not as it would seem

Only a month before Mac Miller was set to tour his new album Swimming, his life was tragically cut short. While Mac Miller's team was getting ready to posthumously release his recent album Circles, the Los Angeles Police Department were working hard to figure out who was ultimately responsible.

They would discover that on the 4th of September 2018, exactly 61.5 hours prior to his death, Mac Miller would send several text messages to his dealers Cameron Pettit and Mia Johansson requesting to purchase various controlled substances, ultimately resulting in his death.

This video was inspired by "Vault's" video "The Sad Story Behind Mac Miller's Overdose". You can find their version here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmvcZoP5Cmk

Lyrics:
My heart was a hellhound
Now my heart sits on your lap
My hands were always clenching
Til I held yours, and you held them back
I wanted to be immortal
Now I’m fine with growing old
Cherries in the summer
Blackberries in the cold

Oh take me back to the country
To the hills and to the spires
I hate the after parties
I want forests, I want fires
Take me back to your parents
I was barefaced in the light
You swore I looked like Audrey Hepburn that night

I was chasing phantoms
Always starving, never full
Then you made me dinner
Where there was push, now there is pull
To you, like a magnet
I am drawn to your bones
Coz love, when it’s the right kind
Well it always points you home

So take me back to the country
To the hills and to the spires
I hate the after parties
I want forests, I want fires
Take me back to your parents
I was barefaced in the light
You swore I looked like Audrey Hepburn that night

Love was a myth now it’s my morning coffee, the one you leave me by our bed
I don’t need accolades or everyone to want me, coz you want me, and that’s as good as it gets

So take me back to the country
To the hills and to the spires
I’ll trade the after parties
For my baby by the fire
We’ll go back to my parents
I’ll be barefaced in the light
You’ll say you look like Audrey Hepburn tonight

Lyrics:
You say I'll never change
Im just a go around town with some gasoline Just tryin' to bum a flame
Gonna burn the whole place down
How do you explain
Ever fallin' in love with a guy like me in the first place
Then turn around say that I'm the worst thing

I guess I'm the problem
And you're miss never do no wrong
If I'm so awful
Then why'd you stick around this long
And if it's the whiskey
Then why you keep on pullin' it off the shelf
You hate that when you look at me you halfway see yourself
And it got me thinkin'
If I'm the problem
You might be the reason

Try to go our separate ways
We're back and forth like a swingin' door
And tomorrow's like yesterday
Some days better than the night before
And you're back with me again
Then you go and tell your friends

That I'm the problem
And you're miss never do no wrong
If I'm so awful
Then why'd you stick around this long
And if it's the whiskey
Then why you keep on pullin' it off the shelf
You hate that when you look at me
You halfway see yourself
And it got me thinkin'
If I'm the problem
You might be the reason

If I'm such a waste of breath
Such a waste of time
Then why you on your way to waste another Friday night

If I’m the problem
And you're miss never do no wrong
If I'm so awful
Then why'd you stick around this long
And if it's the whiskey
Then why you keep on pullin' it off the shelf
You hate that when you look at me you halfway see yourself
And it got me thinkin'
If I'm the problem
You might be the reason
