Official “Better Tho” lyrics:
I still believe in love
Believe in love
Even through all the misery
I still have faith and I
Have faith and know what's meant for me

Will never miss me
How about you?
That's what karma do
All without good reason
Went and fucked up the mood
And now it's just coping season
Carnage is falling through
What a waste of time

Simon says
Do yourself a favor and be on your way
You ain't got the flavor that I wanna taste
No more, had enough of that ish

It's nothing but always tryna turn it into something
Just to be dramatic though
Fronting like I ain't been there through the dumb shit
But bitch I'm doing better tho
Cause I don't need you baby I'm done
But bitch I'm doing better tho
You're mad at me
Down bad, it's deep
So sad to see
Bitch I'm doing better tho

Better than you've ever been
Better than you'll ever be
Better than just settling for someone
Who's not good for me
Good for me
I'm through with you
Always kept me down
Keep me down now

Simon says
Do yourself a favor and be on your way
You ain't got the flavor that I wanna taste
No more, had enough of that ish

It's nothing but always tryna turn it into something
Just to be dramatic though
Fronting like I ain't been there through the dumb shit
But bitch I'm doing better tho
Cause I don't need you baby I'm done
But bitch I'm doing better tho
You're mad at me
Down bad, it's deep
So sad to see
Bitch I'm doing better tho

But bitch I'm doing better tho
But bitch I'm doing better tho

It's nothing (nothing) but always tryna turn it into something
Just to be dramatic though
Fronting (fronting) like I ain't been there through the dumb shit
But bitch I'm doing better tho
Cause I don't need you baby I'm done
But bitch I'm doing better tho
You're mad at me
Down bad, it's deep

Lyrics:
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die
DIE!

Radical, rather than rhetorical, babble like an Oracle
Why am I always in your debt?
Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost- Communist Comatose
Show me all the wagers are a bet
The middle of a nuclear winter is a modern
Achievement of the retro apocalyptic horde
Satan, you must be mistaken, there are no more Satans
Only The Bosses on the Board
Forget Deny Ignore Nice Try It’s You
Regret Rely Remorse Inside Of You

Maybe you’ve been down too long…

The Heart Begins To Suffer When The Soul Has Given Up
And The Flesh Is Barely More Than Bone
When No One Else Is Listening- Only When You’ve Had Enough
Time To Sing This Dying Song Alone
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die
DIE!

Maybe you’ve been down too long…

Think Hard You Bastards- You’re Gonna Tell Me Why
If I Don’t Get An Answer, You’re Gonna Sing and Die
Think Hard You Bastards- You’re Gonna Tell Me Why
If I Don’t Get An Answer, You’re Gonna Sing and Die

The Heart Begins To Suffer When The Soul Has Given Up
And The Flesh Is Barely More Than Bone
When No One Else Is Listening- Only When You’ve Had Enough
Time To Sing This Dying Song Alone
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die
Put Your Hands Into The Water- Let Your Mouth Go Sick And Dry
Put Your Life Into Your Death Now- Let Them Sing Until You Die

Lyrics:
He calls me the devil
I make him wanna sin
Every time I knock, he can't help but let me in
Must be homesick for the real
I'm the realest it gets
You probably still adore me
With my hands around your neck

Can you feel the warmth? Yeah
As my kiss goes down you like some sweet alcohol
Where i'm coming from, yeah
It's the darker side of me that makes you feel so numb

Cause we're hot like hell
Does it burn when I'm not there?
When you're by yourself
Am I the answer to your prayers
I'm giving you that pleasure heaven
And I'll give it to you

Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell

You're my manna from heaven
We all gotta get fed
Can let me know I'm wanted
Can let me in your head
I'm not here to make you kneel
But it's praise that I'll get
You ain't gonna walk free boy
Not finished with you yet, no

Can you feel the warmth? Yeah
As my kiss goes down you like some sweet alcohol
Where i'm coming from, yeah
It's the darker side of me that makes you feel so numb

Cause we're hot like hell
Does it burn when I'm not there?
When you're by yourself
Am I the answer to your prayers
I'm giving you the pleasure of heaven
And I'll give it to you

Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell

When we go down right there
You make me feel right there
When you lay me down right there
We just make it right there
Cause you're looking so right there
Baby you should touch me right there
If you can take me right there
We can make it

Hot like hell
Does it burn when I'm not there?
When you're by yourself
Am I the answer to your prayers
I'm giving you that pleasure heaven
And I'll give it to you

Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell
And I'll give it to you
Hotter than hell

Carl Cox direct from Brooklyn Mirage, New York, USA as we go LIVE for The Brooklyn Mirage, NYC on Beatport Live.

About Carl Cox:
One of the most charming DJs in the business. A musical ambassador and a veteran of acid house, a champion of techno, a dance music pioneer, label owner, King of Ibiza – you name it, Carl’s been there and done it, never losing sight of his passions – playing music, breaking tunes and celebrating life.

It was at the age of 15 that Carl bought a set of turntables and began working as a mobile DJ. Disco was the first music that captivated him but by the early 80s Cox had moved on to playing the same music as other young London DJs – rare groove, New York hip-hop and electro. He was perfectly placed to hear Chicago house music in its earliest forms, and when the epic 'Acid Trax' by Phuture (a.k.a. DJ Pierre) came out in early '87. “It was then that I thought, 'This is it,’ says Carl. “I would do my parties, and I'd play old rare groove and hip hop and soul and I would say 'Right you've got to hear this Phuture track’ and people would just stop and listen.”

As a founder of the sound, Carl rode the exploding British rave scene. He played the opening night of Danny Rampling's legendary Shoom, co-promoted The Project with Paul Oakenfold, held a residency at the Zap Club in Brighton and at the Sunrise rave in 1988, hooked up a third turntable for his dawn-breaking set, got 15,000 people back on their feet, and established a personal rep for three-deck wizardry.

The Authority On All Things R&B !
Blxst joins the R&B Money Podcast to talk about his journey from South Central Los Angeles to becoming one of the defining voices of a new generation of West Coast R&B—and the personal evolution behind his new album, Labor of Love. Blxst takes us back to the early grind: teaching himself to produce, developing his sound, building independently, and creating the music that eventually led to No Love Lost and the Platinum-certified “Chosen.” Now, he’s returning to his roots with Labor of Love—his first full-length album in two years and one of his most personal projects yet. The 13-track album is entirely written and produced by Blxst, with appearances from Sasha Keable, Cheyenne Wright, Big Sad 1900, and Love Rich TT.

Here is the legendary Simon Phillips performing a drum solo during his clinic at Hard Rock Cafe in Warsaw, Poland, on June 11, 2017.
http://en.beatit.tv/simon-phil....lips-drum-solo-live-

"What I want to convey to those who come to my drum clinic is in part information, in part the benefit of my experience, hopefully some funny stories and revealing the human side of the reality of the music business and drums and drumming. I tend to be very open and loose about it. I only have a plan for the beginning and that’s it, just to open the clinic. The rest is all down to the audience. I hand it out to them and the rest of the clinic is basically conducted on the questions that I get. Most audiences are very good. They’re very forthcoming and it’s never a problem. Occasionally, you get the tough one, where they’re not so forthcoming, and then, you have to work really hard. They may also ask a question which, maybe, I feel is not relevant. What I do is I do the politician trick. If you notice, most politicians answer to a totally different question than that asked by a journalist. They weren’t asked that question but they want to be. It’s a good trick I learned by watching all these politicians on TV around the world. There’s a lot of that going on right now so we’re getting a lot of experience at that and a lot of practice. Otherwise, it is most important to make [a drum clinic] a fun event. At the end of the day, it is still a show and entertainment. There’s nothing worse than everybody getting really bored or too technical. I try to keep it very informative, with a lot of technical information, but I still try to make it fun for everybody so they have a good time.

When I was very young and I would go to a clinic, I never asked a question. I was too afraid to embarrass myself. I think people think: ‘I hope the question I have isn’t a silly question’. There really aren’t any silly questions because if the clinician is open and aware enough, he’ll make it so that that person isn’t embarrassed. He’ll take something from the question that is positive and useful."

Lyrics
When the going gets tough
The tough get going, tough, tough, huh, huh, huh
When the going gets tough, the tough get ready
Tough, tough, tough
Yeah, oh, do da do da
I got something to tell you
I got something to say
I'm gonna put this dream in motion
I Never let nothing stand in my way
When the going gets touch
The tough get going
I'm gonna get myself 'cross the river
That's the price I'm willing to pay
I'm gonna make you stand and deliver
And give me love in the old-fashion way woh
Darlin', I'll climb any mountain
Darlin', I'll do anything
Oh (oh) can I touch you (can I touch you)
And do the things that lovers do
Oh (oh) want to hold you (wanna hold you)
I gotta get it through to you, oh
When the going gets tough
The tough get going
When the going gets rough
The tough get rough
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Oh baby
I'm gonna buy me a one-way ticket
Nothin's gonna hold me back
Your love's like a slow train coming (slow train coming)
And I feel it coming down the track (woh)
Darlin', I'll climb any mountain
Darlin', I'll do anything
Oh (oh) can I touch you (can I touch you)
And do the things that lovers do
Oh, (oh) want to hold you (wanna hold you)
I gotta get it through to you (oh)
'Cause when the going gets tough
The tough get going
When the going gets rough
The tough get rough
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (oh hit it)
Oh oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Touch me baby oh oh
Darlin', I'll climb any mountain
Darlin', I'll swim any sea
Darlin', I'll reach for the heaven
Darlin', with you lovin' me
Oh (oh)
Oh, can I touch you (can I touch you)
Do the things that lovers do (can I touch you)
Oh, want to hold you (wanna hold you)
I gotta get it through to you
When the going gets tough
Going gets tough
Going gets rough
Going gets rough
When the going gets tough
Going gets tough
Going gets rough
Going gets rough
When the going gets tough
Going gets tough
Going gets rough
Going gets rough
When the going gets tough

Lyrics:
Touch my body tender
'Cause the feeling makes me weak
Kicking off the covers
I see the ceiling while you're looking down at me

How can we go back to being friends
When we just shared a bed?
How can you look at me and pretend
I'm someone you've never met?

It was last December
You were layin' on my chest
I still remember
I was scared to take a breath, didn't want you to move your head

How can we go back to being friends
When we just shared a bed? (Yeah)
How can you look at me and pretend
I'm someone you've never met?

The devil in your eyes
Won't deny the lies
You've sold, I'm holding on too tight
While you let go, this is casual

How can we go back to being friends
When we just shared a bed? (Yeah)
How can you look at me and pretend
I'm someone you've never met?

How can we go back to being friends
When we just shared a bed? (Yeah)
How can you look at me and pretend
I'm someone you've never met?
I'm someone you've never met (yeah)
